The main melody seemed to lift the song (give it direction) when it came in. But it sounded a bit too upfront to me. I think a mellower, less synthy, sound might suit the melody part better, too. The music is a good/solid bed for the melody

One thing I did notice is your sound is a bit too mono.

Why don't ya use some HASS effect, Stereo Widener, Saturation and/or compressor after Reverb
