ReasonTalk Guitar Patches
Hi guys,
I'm using Reason Essentials 9 and Kuassa's RE are the only extensions that I have and use since I have been working for Kuassa.
The purpose of these demos - videos and the new coming refill is to show all the possibilities of the Kuassa's rack extensions.
That's the best way to represent how great and capable are the Kuassa's racks for Reason.
On some refills I've used Kuassa's EQ's and Limiter to finish the mix. The full package will include the Reason's project files too.
This is going to give you the full mix-project used in the demos - videos.
I hope it will be fine to download the demo versions of the Kuassa's rack extensions and check out the refill
Next month I will make patches only with Creme and Vermilion. Sounds like a plan?!
Best regards,
Dimi

Sounds great. In fact I would go further and say you make a big refill using the three recent 'pedals' plus stock devices, have Kuassa offrr a bundle deal for all three and make the Refill exclusive to bundle buyers (or of course those that already own all three). I would buy them in a heartbeat, but I'm not so keen on the EQs etc because... well Im pretty dense when it comes to engineering.

I'd love to hear Dimi go to town with a Fender. His style is so expressive and like a person's voice, which Fender does so well. Here's a surprise: the music below is done with a cheap clone of a Gibson ES-335. It's a Washburn Oscar Schmidt Delta King OE-30, cost me $140 new (shown below). Inside Reason, it is split into essentially two low-gain Fender Bassmen with 4x12" speakers, easy to get with Vermilion and Creme, with small different amounts of Chorus and Flange on each, a teeny and different amount of Spring Reverb on each, a touch of different slow Leslie on each, and heavily midrange EQ on each side. It really sounds like a Fender, just like Hendrix did with a Les Paul on many occassions.dimi wrote:Going to work on tone like that next week. Will search for a Fender guitar to work with

This finished refill's so close I can smell it
hello,
probably a dumb question
this refill 'Kuassa Classic Tones'
do you need a guitar, or is the refill the guitar samples
that you can load into an nnxt, redrum, etc.?
because of the Kuassa sale i'm tempted to gather up everything
like an easter egg hunt or halloween when somebody leaves all the candy in a bowl
thanks for your help,
j

Correct, these are awesome Effects which can be put on any Instrument whether audio or midi. If you don't play live guitar then load up a guitar patch or of course any other type of patch. Using these on synths or even perc can be quite cool.littlejam wrote:hello,

hello,
i watched the video above with the pink floyd, etc sounds
is there anyone who can design a combi with the pearl jam sound
from 'yellow ledbetter'
there's 2 sounds: first intro guitar
and the 2nd is the solo, half way through the song, right after he says, 'make me cry'
beautiful song
lyrics are strangely trippy
thanks in advance
getting kuassa now

hello,
just for info from wikipedia
"Yellow Ledbetter" is based on a I-V-IV chord progression in the key of E major. McCready plays his Stratocaster on the track in the style of Jimi Hendrix, incorporating hammer-ons and pull-offs into the subtle chord work. He uses the guitar's whammy bar during the solo, bending notes to create a vacuum-like sound.[6]
thanks
j
Steve Huey of Allmusic said that McCready's "airy Hendrix imitations provide the essential meat of the song." He added, "Eddie Vedder's vocal is alternately intense and achingly wistful, with the latter particularly suiting the song's mood." He proclaimed "Yellow Ledbetter" as "the sound of a band overflowing with prime material."[13] Will Hermes of Spin said, "The Hendrix-indebted power ballad "Yellow Ledbetter" is some of the best Pearl Jam music ever recorded."[14] In 2007, McCready's guitar solo from "Yellow Ledbetter" was ranked number 95 on Guitar World's "100 Greatest Guitar Solos" list.[15][16]

Hot Damn!!!!!
Opens up to the future for sure.
Jacobius Wrex (Orr) from Detroit is doing something right! I think he uses an Eleven and Kemper for the guitar, but Kuassa sounds almost the same, so it could all be in Reason. Wow.

Here's a start using Vermilion, Creme (for speakers), and stock Reason devices. You'll have to adjust EQ's for your guitar and mix in the left and right Unisons to taste.littlejam wrote:...is there anyone who can design a combi with the pearl jam sound
