Also...time stretch and formant shifting would be amazing. Especially now we have sample import. Can you imagine a Kong style drum machine with those features? Even if it used (or had the option of) an "eco" version of what we currently have in Reason, I think that'd be incredible.
Just in case, are you aware that you can copy any pattern to track using Chords Player? I realize it is still a workaround, but it's the quickest method we have so far.
it is best option we can afford [emoji11]

I'd like Izotope to take another crack at REs - Iris, Breaktweaker, heck, Trash now that IRs could be loaded...

I was thinking about an update of Parsec with sample loading as well. When you look at Parsec II you see that there is a lot of wasted space above Generator A and B. I'm wondering if this free space was left there intentional for a later update with sample loading. I hope so!

^ PLEASE. Literally the only thing that keeps me in Cubase at the moment is drums. I have RDK, A-list, Alt Drums. But they really just aren't up to the standard of Toontrack's stuff.

Well and then there's stuff like Albion ONE as well. I'd have a hard time replacing that in Reason, but for orchestral stuff I don't mind working in Cubase. But for everything else - especially rock and metal - I'd love to be able to work exclusively in Reason.

I'd rather have this built directly into Reason including Midi Clips.

I'd like to see a powerful sampler/synth along the similar lines to UVI Falcon.

But I'm wondering where sample loading would fit into the structure of Parsec? As far as I know it's based on an array of sine oscillators whose amplitude relationships are manipulated in different ways to simulate waveforms, filters etc? I might be wrong, of course!

Yes, you are right, but Parsec II after the update has all wavetables from Thor. Why not import your own wavetables like in Expanse?

Hmm, I didn't think of that! I'm guessing they've resynthesized all the wavetables and play them back with the additive oscillators? I wonder if something similar could be done on the fly with user browsable samples?

Wasn't there another RE that was going to be released last year with this kind of functionality, by resynthesizing live audio?

I'm wondering, since the SDKupdate, Maybe PredatorRE could be updated to version 2.0 ?

This! Predator is really great and all the quality RP products have really helped to keep Reason quality in general, I hope that continues in a strong way.

Believe you're referring to the planned Spectra synth by synthetechsound. I'm not educated enough to speak to it, but it would seem to add another element of awesomeness.

The 2.5 update really opens up some interesting possibilities for RE's. But I'd also like to see some of the existing devices updated to take advantage of the new capabilities. There are potentially some really exciting updates to what we already have in the Rack. Exciting times for Reason (as ever, only better ;) )

Will we get to se the makers of fab filter now? I read somewhere on reason talk that the dudes who make fabfilter wanted to make REs but they wanted to wait until the platform was more up to date or something I'm no developer and don't know the full story but I see that company name on a lot of videos by a lot of artists haha since the new sdk I got big dreams :)
