It's time for a new community refill

I never took part in any of the previous community refills. But I've seen that ReDominator, kHs One, Antidote and other synths had people coming together to create a cool refill. I think the time has come to do something like this again. I also noticed some folks here tried to convince people to make an RV7000 mk2 impulse patches refill but this never was continued? Maybe we should do a synth one. If anybody is interested or has a cool idea please share

I voted "other" and my proposal is the Dr Octorex. I chose it because it allows for the greatest flexibillity when creating sounds for the refill.
You can make drumloops, Synthloops, Guitarloops etcetc with all the beloved gear and machines you have. This way everyone can use his favourite Gear and contribute!

I definitely vote for the Nostromo, although I like them all. The Nostromo is probably my all time favorite rack extension synth. It seems to be capable of getting sounds that really stand out from other synths. The only thing that would make it better would be a "random" button like we have on the fritz.

To be sure, any of these synths would be great for a community refill. Expanse is my first choice, but my second choice would be one that doesn't have any votes currently, Solaris - It may be more of a niche wavetable device but its unusual interface hides a lot of flexibility.

This is a very good point! not everyone on reasontalk has all the same synths. This will make it possibl for all to contribute and all to use. I also vote other for dr octorex.

By popular demand, I'm going to set up a Expanse community refill topic in the refill section of this board. Anyone willing to contribute can send me a message to skullturemusic(at)gmail.com. If any mod wishes to take control of this project please let me know. Otherwise I will lead the project if we get enough sounddesigners to apply.

I see there is also interest in a Dr. Rex community refill. If anyone would like to lead that project feel free to start a topic in the refill section. I might contribute some sounds as well. But I personally would like to see an Expanse refill first.
