I like to use Predator as an arpeggiator. It comes with so many presets, you have a ton of arp presets to use, which you can use as is or alter to your taste (helpful when you are trying to learn how to use/program it). Not to mention all the fx it comes with and it's a pretty sweet synth on top of that.
