Grain sample limits?

I tried to load a 450Mb sample but it gave me device error...
What's the limit on Grain, it was Mp3 anyway.

Probably 1.5hrs depending on the quality

If I got my calculations right, at 196kbps (for example) 450mb file is over 5 hours long!

I would assume that was a bit long for common sense. Much over 5 mins may make little sense. You might need to put things that long into Audacity or the like.

I reduced the file size a bit.
I tried to make one long sample, with 8 drum samples, in Audacity.
The Grain patch is trying to make it possible to play the single wav file with the usual
midi drum keys. It plays kinda ok, kinda...
The difficult part is to assign every single hit to the exact midi note...

If you'd like to play around it, here's the patch file...
