I could be imagining things but I'm pretty sure this was already on sale last week in the prop shop for the same price.

Uggghhh, I've been waiting for this to go on sale but will have to wait until what the new Players are priced at and if I want any of those... decisions decisions.

Really fantastic sounding RE. $49 is a pretty spectacular price for these authentic and rich sounding strings.

My family is full of professional and semi-professional cellists and violinists (I count 7 off the top of my head), some of whom do regular studio and live work with pop artists or record for film and television soundtracks.

StringWERK sounds so good that it has made the playing family members who have heard it go "grrrrr!" at the potential loss of work.

As a strings companion in Reason, I can only recommend it. Lots of really great uses to this instrument, and the animator can do some really eerie rhythmic string phrases.

I like the simple and straight forward interface and i feel you can pull something out very fast while with a refill bank model it's a bit more laborious in my opinion. Another thing is that i never really liked working with the nn-xt as device ( never been a sample user anyway..) so Stringwerk might be a good option.

I enjoy using the RE StringWerk more compared to it's big VST brother Session strings PRO. I like them both but with limited time in the day the RE is infinitely faster to use. I am hoping they change the VST interface to look & function more like the RE.
