Because the world is ***ed up? Why turn this thread into that kind of discussion? This whole forum is kinda "1st world problems" to be honest, eh? It's dedicated to a virtual studio environment with fancy buttons that does, eventually, noises. ;) You are free to do a "how much did you donate for charity" thread if you like.

If you are interested, I donate 50€ every month for homeless in my city and I work in a care home for old people.

Back on track...

I have over 250 REs, don't know how much I've spent but I do claim them all back on tax, so it's the equivalent of getting a (roughly) 30% refund

I was thinking of giving that money to starving kids, but then I thought fuck it, who cares about them right??

Bullshit. Judgement is exactly what your comment was meant to deliver. At least own up to it "in all honesty"

Propellerhead Shop:

Paid 2347 EUR (incl. 201 EUR for Refills) for 2530 EUR list price at the time of purchase. A good 7% discount over all.

From the Orders Page:

31 single REs
1 v1 Rig + v2 Upgrade
2 v2 Rigs
2 Reason Upgrades
16 Refills

Products in Account incl. freebies , from bundles, getting for free from PH by just asking ;) :
28 Refills
116 Rack Extensions

And still not released anything to the public but had incredible hours of fun. Which results in a ratio of Money to Good Feeling which is hard to top with anything else you can buy for money.

Thats the way I see it ;)

Others pay 50000$ for their car which is their hobby. I have a feeling, where your money is better invested...

awwww....$3647 for REs, I am shocked, I had no idea. I guessed about $1500, but it is more than double that.
But I am proud I did not buy anything at the last sale, but too bad there are new nice synths coming in the future. I have to say there are only one or two REs I bought that I do not use, except a few that were bundled in the Rigs.
I only purchased one refill for £7.95 (Kings of Kong, JP) though.

All these small purchases here and there really add up.

Luckily I pretty much have everything I want that's available in the shop right now. I should have enough toys to play with for another year before buying more stuff.
Up to 1300-1500 euros in 2-3 years?

I got into the whole rack extension thing about a year ago, so 1335 euros in one year, I guess in 2 years if I don't buy anything new this year but that's not likely to happen. I'm sure over the next year there's gonna be something new in the shop that I'd want to buy. If a really good exciter gets in the shop I'll be all over it.

I would be scared to add up the RE cost, however i've spent about $10,000 on Hardware Synths.

in a way, it might be a good thing if they never never evolve the SDK any further as i will mean potentially better and even more sophisticated devices that i will want to add to my rack, at the rate devices are already being added lately my wallet is seriously struggling to keep up with it. i think its time to pause with the purchases and just make good with what ive got until he next wave of sales begin, i will need that time to replenish funds anyway, ive gone full retard on gear lately ;) lol
