Search save

Have any feature requests? No promise they'll get to Reason Studios, but you can still discuss them here.

I may be about to embarrass myself. :o

Just downloaded R9 after many years of not using reason, (back to vers R4.) not installed it yet, will do after work.

One thing that I used to get bugged about, as someone who had many refills and sound banks, was not being able to save searches.

WTF? You may ask!

I make mainly orchestral music, using many layers of each instrument, it would have been great to load up a NN-XT and search, for example, "cello" patches. When the search had indexed all the cello samples, it would have been fab to be able to save that search, and, the next time I wanted a cello layer, to be able to pull up the list, rather than search again.

Am I making sense?

Yes, indeed you cant do this.. What you can do is, do a search, and put all the results into a favorite list in the browser. That way you dont save the search, but the search result.

Thanks mate, that's useful, but not quite as good as a "save search as" tab would be! ;-)
