Fractal Equalizer innovative tool for the spectral balance in all octaves. We have developed a surprisingly simple operation and configuration of complex network automation. Fractals around us, it is very natural. Using short fractal pattern, we have automated control octave equalizer, thereby reducing the number of controls to 4 Combinator knobs.

Rotary 2. The balance of the first level.

Rotary 1 and 4 .. Balances the third level ..

The wheels run resonance and frequency shift in semitones.

This approach also allows us to give the character of different frequencies in one motion. We intuitively understand which setting we choose, thus setting processes is great fun.
We did not move the fence of the bands, and direct sound energy flows in the right direction to us. Just allow current to flow freely and it will fill the spectrum of pleasing tones. Change the settings when you want to change the mood.

Recommended for use with sample rate 88200 - 192000 Hz.

I am working on a production and placed this on the guitar buss with all dials at default. Nice and smooth 500hz dip and rounded top high mids. I actually was able to turn down the overall level of the buss because of the increased clarity. I tried to mimic the eq curve with a stock eq in Reaper and it sounded similar, of course, but nowhere near as smooth. I using this device as my Buss Finalizer. That's what it sounds like me!

Thanks for the feedback. The choice of filters for this device due to the better performance. Scale of half-rack filters coincides with the cv notes.

Replaced two ECF42 on Thor filters. This has improved the sound.
Fixed error in the calculations. Now modulation wheel begins on the note F#.

There was a problem with the automation of filters phase inversion.
We had a little bit to change the settings.

Version 2.0:

- Combi programmer / Thor / Slots 1-3 modulation wheel changed to CV input 1.

- Two Combi added.

Reason the filters differ in the number of steps per octave. Filters ECF42 have the lowest number of steps is 12. Kong has a larger number of steps / octave - 16. Thor - 14.
I did a versions with Thor and Kong, all three equalization has its own character and color. Combiner Thor filters gives a subtle resonance, but the processor load. Filters of Kong give a very good sound, but do not merge with the 12 steps temperament.

Excited to try these out. I used Fractal EQ on the 2-buss in recent mix and really liked the way it smoothly cleaned up the low mids.
