Or you can buy it in a regular store for $175, or buy the hardware on ebay for 10 grand!

Don't think there is anything really magic, but kinda cool nostalgia and some juicy digital sounds with 12/24 "analog" filter. Reviewers say they did a good job with the SSM filter algo, one of the best in analog history, mind you. And, interestingly, you can load your own samples and play them back with the PPG 8-bit engine, then through the "SSM" and 6 FX.

had recently got version 2... took me awhile to get the vet presets happening and got better vintage synths... think that was a gas purchase... although have not looked into d-pole that came with it yet... after Mac fixed my computer... I have been jumping through 1st authorization hoops... hate it... but got er done just now...

I'll try the demo. Maybe I like it and 30 bucks ain't much, it is NKS after all, something I am working my way into, so that is a plus. This amount of presets can cost 60 bucks, so there is that. I know I don't neeeeeeeeed it  I'll keep my expectation fairly low though, even though I have sweet spot for the digital waves through "analog" filters, Ensoniq ESQ-1 et. al.

This was s big meh. Terrible UI if you plan to make your own sounds. No favorite in the preset browser and most presets are named with developer name + a number. Yikes...

Largo has plenty of PPG vibe and Waldorf vibe so I'm not buying the PPG 3. I think you need to have a lot of nostalgia if you gonna but this. That's my take on it.

It was a bit crap back in the day so this VST should be the same if it's accurate! xD

I had this VST for a year now. To be honest it's only for PPG fans and 80's diehards. It absolutely nails that sound. For everyone else there are much more flexible wavetable synths out there.
