Razor Tool not available, in Comp Edit? [Solved]

I typed up this question but happily found the answer on. my own. I'll. post it here in case someone needs it. Reason 10.
Q: I'm trying to comp edit my song but the Razor tool won't work in the Comp Rows. The tool cursor icon doesn't show and the Cuts Curser Crossfade handles aren't selectable. It will work in Clip Overview. In other song files, it works as expected, from what I see in the manual, but in this song it's no go. Can I do something to make it work again?
A: I had one of the "Single Take Mode buttons" selected. These are the buttons that look like a speaker to the. left of the comp row. Click it again to turn it off and the razor tool is available again.
