NN19 key to retrigger note from start?

Hi,

I'm struggling a bit with NN19 - all I want it to do is retrigger a note from the start when I hit a key on my keyboard or draw a note? I set it to SOLO SAMPLE, by default it seems to play the rest of my sample instead?

On the left side of the NN-19, you have a button called "RETRIG". Have you tried it ?

Hi, it's because of the way you have the 'amplitude envelope' set up on the bottom right of the device. It's mostly the 'release' parameter - bring it back down to zero instead of halfway.

Also you could simply hold 'CTRL' and left click on the envelopes ADSR parameters and that will return them to their initialized position.
