to, say, February, 1th? 69 €
because only R9 users can trial new instruments, participate in future challenges, and I'm sure developers will create devices with SDK 2.5 from now on, or update existing ones.
so, props?
Props should give discount on R9 upgrade now

As a Canadian I agree, that $139 upgrade price is over $200 for me after exchange rate and all the taxes.

Yes they should, but most probably won't. So i'll still wait for R10... lots of music to be made in the mean time !
I wouldn't mind that, but... still makes me think. The Propellerheads have worked on this update and now they need to low the prices while my logic says they could raise the fee higher.
yup, no need to get sucked into frenzy, hanging tight until R10 for the win.Data_Shrine wrote:Yes they should, but most probably won't. So i'll still wait for R10... lots of music to be made in the mean time !
I was sorely tempted by the black friday deal that they had with R9 + a ton of rack extensions.
Problem is, most of the rack extensions I wasn't really interested in, and it was still pricey (something like €300?) so I left it.
Propellerhead please feel free to do a nice discount just for plain old R9 for your loyal Reason users.

Ambient garage vibes.
I am not against an upgrade sail but as said below they put quite a lot of work into Reason 9 or better 8+9+SDK2.5 so why should they give a discount especially now? To upgrade to Bitwig 2 from 1 costs 50$ more so you can even buy Proton after upgrading.
