I don't know about akai software, I'm making all my samples in soundforge, and yes, all informations reason reads (loop points and root note)

you can do that in soundforge easily. set the loop points to what you want to be sustained, set the root note of a sample, crossfade if you need to. reason samplers reads all that

synth sound loop? did you try soundforge?
