Re: Nektar Panorama Remote Maps Thread
In the following remote map you will find over 30 VST for Nektar Panorama. Be mindful that VST's can change at any time the developer chooses so if you update your VST the maps could change. Use these at your discretion. Commercial VST Roland SH-101 - (https://www.rolandcloud.com/) Roland Promars - ...

Re: Nektar Panorama Remote Maps Thread
Holy Reason Update! Just curious, is there a mapping from nektar for serum? is it possible to lock that to vst via internal mode? I started mapping for Serum but unfortunately there are several controls that for some odd reason do not map properly. You can be using the proper remote name but they s...

Yup. No issues on my end either. You are using the 64-bit version and not a 32-bit bridged plug right?

Re: Melodyne VST not showing up
I did go into preferences and point to both my VST and VST3 files in Library (Mac OS X) but Melodyne doesn't show up. Is anyone out there using the Melodyne VST with 9.5? How did you get it to work? thanks Reason 9.5 does not support VST3 so those will not show up. It only supports 2.4 64-bit VST. ...

Re: What to do when a VST doesn't show up?
In response to your questions: 1 & 2. The extension pretty much tells all with exception to if a 2.4 VST is a 32-bit(not natively supported in R9.5) or 64-bit. When a developer offers them they are more often added in the filename "x64" but by no means assume this all times. I cannot comment on AU a...

Re: J Bridge Question
Hi All! I've heard you can use 32bit vst's in a 64 bit daw using J Bridge. 2 questions:- 1) So it converts the 32 bit to 64 bit files that are then accessed on your daw? 2) Is there any loss in quality when using a once 32 bit vst after conversion? Thanks! 1. Yes! It is program that runs and asks y...

Re: VST in reason, effects on the rack extension market?
So are RE's going to be re-sell able now? I still don't see that happening. I think many are in favor of it but Re won't change. If they sell VST however I don't see how they could prevent it as I wouldn't expect the licensing to be handled by them... just distribution and sales. Time will tell wit...

Re: VST in reason, effects on the rack extension market?
As I see it we already have a base of Reason users. This is less likely to diminish due to the introduction of VST into the DAW. I mean theoretically it could for those hardcore never VSTers but I think that is a small number and almost laughable. Don't like VST? Don't use them. You haven't lost any...

Re: Will Ryzen make AMD great again?
Like I discussed earlier I built a Ryzen 1700X PC with an ASUS Prime X370 motherboard. I put 32GB of DDR4 2667 Ram in it with a Mushkin 1TB solid state. Stolen from my previous PC I took my GeForce 1060 Graphics card. Aside from some delays I experienced in my professional life I've had it up and ru...

Not sure it's worthy of a 300 buck price tag on desktop but certainly on iPad it's a must have for anyone interested in music. Well currently it's on sale for $199. Also, I guess it's worth noting that the Mac version includes all the current Gadgets? Is that correct? And with iPad you buy many of ...

Re: KORG Gadget now available!
I have Gadget for iOS and since I don't run Mac the announcement isn't that big of a deal for me. But I do love Gadget as a travel companion is a great product. The Mac release also comes with upgrades to the iOS users so that is good. There are three new devices which pushes the total amount availa...

Re: Will Ryzen make AMD great again?
Curious - why bother with onboard audio? No one uses that for audio production (typically). At least if they can help it! ;) If you do use the onboard audio, are you going to install something like ASIO4ALL? I'm guessing stock drivers are going to offer horrible latency on any platform, no matter h...

Re: Will Ryzen make AMD great again?
Too confusing for me. If there are issues for low latency, then all the benchmarks mean nothing for audio users. Anyways, I give up. There are not issues at low latency.... just ultra low latency. But these are just terms and left to the individual to interpret. What do you consider low latency and...

Re: Will Ryzen make AMD great again?
At first I had to wait on a motherboard. I do not and never had gone for bells and whistles on a motherboard and keep it meaty but low key. I've had much success with ASUS and they seemed to offer the most in the way of SATA 3 ports so this is where I went. There are a lot of gaming boards out there...

Re: Will Ryzen make AMD great again?
Of course Intel might easily release a clearly superior chip in six months; they might even price it to screw with the 1800X. That's also a bit of a risk, but ultimately you buy the best you can afford on the day you order, and what happens in the future stays in the future. One can't do anything a...

Re: Roland LEGENDARY SERIES
I could see myself joining for $20 a month. End of the 12 months is $240 and I'd get to keep one of my choice. Pricey for one but you get to use all the rest. Each 12 months you get a new one. I'm also hoping that they keep on their promise that new ones will be added monthly. If that's so in short ...
