This is a very weird situation I'm reading.

I'm running Catalina on an older 2012 mac and it works fine using rytmik drum sidechained into neutron3 to dynamically bring the eq down.

Perhaps the problem is that this line is missing when searching for installed VSTs (look light Blue line). It occurs to me that it could be that. I'm on windows, I don't know what the address would be on mac.
