Re: "Game of Thrones Theme Song" - Reggae Version

Hehe sounds different. For some reason I quite fancy a game of 'The Secret Of Monkey Island 1&2' lol :D

Re: Is RE's losing steam?

Well it does, it's the 'sheep' effect. The more people who use pirated Ableton, the more knock on effect you get - More tutorial videos on youtube, more forums, more people to talk in said forums. It all equates to more popular. Nah! I disagree, I think that it's a popular piece of software first t...

(Club/Trance) Need To Feel Loved from the film It's All Gone Pete Tong

I've always loved the Original track from the film: It's All Gone Pete Tong. And wanted to do a version for years now, so here it is.... This track marks the end of me doing covers of other peoples shite. I've learned so much about music production along the way - Time to start my own stuff next. ht...

Re: Is RE's losing steam?

I'm not at all saying that piracy doesn't exist ! Piracy doesn't elect a DAW to be more popular to actually want to use. If Ableton was the worst buggiest crashing constantly and you couldn't use it in a live performance at all and had no vst support, the fact that I was easy to download for free w...

Re: Is RE's losing steam?

The sole reason other DAW's 'seem' more popular is solely down to piracy . Hell, NI release something new and 2 mins after it's up on some torrent site with tens of thousands of hits. It would be nice if more VST devs started developing Re's, they'd at least make some money from us lot. They just n...

Re: Is RE's losing steam?

I've bought 4 Re's this month, one of which was Zero, flippin' awesome synth! I don't think Re's are running out of steam at all. I have put aside £300 for this Friday sale solely for Re's. Reason may not support VTSs directly, but it's no problem to get any VST working with reason. In fact I find I...

Re: Aurora Hybrid Synthesizer Final Preview

Well i'm glad I threw this question up - Yes it was a technical question. If it's using samples of waveforms for the oscillator then i'd assume it to be PCM, a bit like the old Korg M1. Which I seem to recall was reasonably popular during the 90's ;) When I was 12 I had an old Yamaha PSR keyboard t...

Re: Aurora Hybrid Synthesizer Final Preview

*SNIP* It's a nice design. But the "Hybrid Synthesizer" tag is just baffling me. Is it there just because of "Zero Hybrid Synthesizer"? I'm not convinced any of these sampled instruments using IDT can ever be called a synthesizer - it's not synthesizing anything. That's why I didn't let DNA use it ...
