its very comfusing because its says on my account reason 9 but i downloaded the instllation files and i see reason 10.
I'm not sure why that is. Saying that, if you've installed Reason 10 and it all works, then you have nothing to worry about. Maybe it takes some time to update your license?

Re: Reason 10 and Reason 10 Update is up on Props main site :o)

Not convinced by it, there's nothing exceptional about it apart from some new instruments. I already have more synths than I ever use. Will possibly update for 10.5 or 11, but not for this version...although I said that about Reason 8. It's only money, just buy it and be done with it. It's here! ht...

Re: Should Propellerheads Reason 10 Upgrade be free?

Nar. It makes absolutely sod all sense to make a milestone version free. We should pay for every new version and quit whinging. Tiring seeing people on here and the props facebook page crying like babies because they have to put their scrawny hands in their pockets. Skinflints! :D

Re: Should Propellerheads Reason 10 Upgrade be free?

Paying for a upgrade is ok. But in the future i realy, really would think of buying a PH RE again. I payed for Pulsar, and they threw it in - money wasted. I payed for Radical Piano and Synchronious, and they threw it in - money wasted. I think kind of discount for owners of those RE would be fair ...

Re: Reason's poor cpu performance

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news but even the most recent/powerful MacBook pro is a bit hopeless, that's me being kind. For the price of these things, you could have had a custom PC made, which would be far more powerful for music production. My mind boggles why people buy these things to do CPU h...

Re: Vengeance Sound's VPS Avenger is simply *THE BEST* VST synth on the market IMHO

The last thing I need is yet another synth. I have seen and heard a fair bit of Avenger - I personally don't like it much. The next synth I buy will have to blow my socks off

Re: So what's on the horizon for REs?

For R10 I feel we'll get more players, overhauled midi editing and I honestly believe they'll have a new big synth up their sleeve to take full advantage of the latest SDK. I initially didn't like VSTs in Reason much on release of 9.5 but I am warming to it now - Specifically using Serum and my Viru...

Re: Rob Papen's RP-Verb 2 just released!

Looks fantastic. I wonder if it's coming out in RE form? I doubt it. You can use the VST in Reason 9.5.x right now anyway, and the larger GUI/UX is almost necessary to work with the new Reverser feature (a smaller RE contained to the rack would make this awkward). I'm willing to wager that if Rob P...

Well technically I wasn't wrong, only partly right. Taken straight from their website "What is Omnisphere? Re: Spectrasonics Omnisphere 2 First Impressions

Correct me if I'm wrong here but I think it's sample based, a bit like hydronexius - So I'd expect to be able to run a lot of instances. You're wrong, and being corrected... sort of. :puf_bigsmile:  It can be sample based, but also has a plethora of built-in synthesis/effects that can chew thr...

Well it's a mixed bag of replies. I have no problem with installing software, and I have an automated weekly backup for if anything went wrong. My gripe was mainly with this 'paranoia' activation software that must be installed to activate a particular plugin and allow it to run, Waves, NI, etc. I ...

Anyone else kinda wish we didn't get VST support?

Pfff Waves central plugin manager. NI Service center etc etc.. All this crap running just to use VSTs. Having more in Reason now with VST support has genuinely set me back. I think if VST support was cancelled, the only thing I really love and would miss would be the Valhalla reverbs. The rest is ju...
