Re: RePlay/ReCode - fully remoteable devices for scripting

Please add me to your beta forum! I'd love to play with it! I have a php port of the old 'rendompatch' script, but haven't done much with it. (And the original's templates are though to work with.) Sounds like your python program is pretty well thought out, Shoemaker. Okay. I will. Coming back as s...

Re: RePlay/ReCode - fully remoteable devices for scripting

Hi, I have VBscript patch randomiser which works however setting it up is a pain as you have to map out all the min and max values. Hi PoohBaer, Mine is doing all the dirty work for me automatically, but right now, it is just 0-127. No fancy stuff atm. But I'm going to use all the infos from the in...

Re: RePlay/ReCode - fully remoteable devices for scripting

A more complete example: Setup first and initial randomization: infos_path = join('Reason', 'remote', 'infos') replay_map_path = join(remote.path, 'Maps', 'RePlay') map1, channel1 = load(replay_map_path) map2, channel2 = load(replay_map_path, channel=2) subtractor = channel1.subtractor_analog_synthe...

RePlay/ReCode - fully remoteable devices for scripting

HI all, I hinted a couple of times, that I'm working on a scriptable remote codec with python like https://forum.reasontalk.com/viewtopic.php?p=373642#p373642 The first time I came up with this Idea is nearly 3 years ago or even longer. I saw a post of About his generated refills. And It immediately...

Re: IDT is very much awesome and worth it!

IDT means something quite different as of the newest SDK release, which coincidentally improves SDK 2.5 as well as SDK 3.0 IDT options. I think I'm allowed to say as much, anyway. What I can definitely say is this: If you have ever thought about making a plugin but are still working on your (perhap...

Re: IDT is very much awesome and worth it!

There's some good IDT's, you'd be well advised to be selective though. Trials help. Point is that people who have a good idea, should start out somewhere, and never let others kill their motivation. Agreed, and we still want to have something like this: http://www.connectorcountry.com/wp-content/up...

The naming for the VST is a bit weird. It should be Europa by Propellerheads.
Europa by Reason is totally fine, as they want to show how great reason is :)

Re: Europa VST/AU!!!!!

I love this evolution. That could mean ... just think about ... they can offer a RE/VSTi bridge for other RE devs without further ado. If they implemented it this way. Wouldn't that be amazing? So RE devs you offer easy crossgrades and potentially attract more users for Reason. Still looking forward...

This is my current base setup for experimental stuff: 2 PSQ instances with the sequencers connected to all 16 in ports of CVPT. With a Nostromo for extra randomization. Feel free to replace it with another synth On Nostromo in the Randomization options for modulation the source and dest pool is set ...

Re: CV Player Tap, free from Lectric Panda

This device really had two basic goals: Allow the older Lectric Panda CV devices access to the player stream via the inputs. Input gates are fixed to Kong and Redrum mappings. Allow chaining/cloning of the player streams using the outputs and inputs. I really didn't want to step on the toes of curr...

Re: Reveal Sound Spire (ReSpire) update 1.0.6 is out

It's still a good RE if you bought it at 59 bucks from introductory. The workflow is awkward but the I really like the oscillators. And the presets, besides being drown in Reverb are good for inspiration, if you want to do EDM. Besides that, I'd prefer Europa So what is in respire that I can’t get ...

Re: Reveal Sound Spire (ReSpire) update 1.0.6 is out

From hardware? How about as many as your computer can handle. From Reason's stock instruments (10.1)? Reason doesn't come with a stock virtual analog that has the power Spire has. Thor would be the closest, but Spire is just in an entire league of its own, IMHO (and I say that lovingly, as Thor is ...

Agreed. Got them the other day. I‘d say, there is nothing comparable at this price tag up to 100€. Been listening to some at the Thomann headquarters before. Highly recommended. They are not as detailed in the mid range as other high end headsets but still very, very Useable. Would have never been ...

Thanks for the thread. Made me aware of the Superlux HD 681 Evo. This is something I can afford right now, while not having a proper Studio Setup. CVPT will use the lowest slot thats available whenever a new note comes in. Hum, yea...So the result is unpredictable. Thought so. The idea i have in my mind since several time is, to have the lowest note from Scales&Chords for a bass, than a string, than a key and than a fx or something like this....

@lectric panda They probably didnt change the way remote items are treated in pattern based devices 10.1, did they? So i guess the grid is not going to be remotable? Would be a huge undertaking anyways to make this run on a launchpad (though not impossible)? I think most of your devices that have l...

Re: Taking a break from music making?

I don't think there are any rules for this. In the end it's just work, using a strict schedule will help. But don't commit yourself that you need to create something you are happy with. Sometimes it goes faster, sometimes it doesn't. But it does help to just do it. Start working. Even if it is shit...
