VK2 has become my Go To Synth for every track I'm working on. Loving it.

Hmm subs service on Splice ... is it worth the outlay I wonder? Any safe free sample sites, Looperman for example? Happy to subscribe and trial it, just don't want to waste my time.

This is really useful. I have stayed away of free samples as last time I downloaded some it caused an error in my computer. Where is the best place to go for vocal samples, old school R&B, Dance Hall, DubStep, or Grime type stuff ... ?

I'm working up a couple of files with various EDM and other drum patterns and am going to do the same with Bass lines as I've been hitting my head against a brick wall trying to source this stuff. I'll post them here once done. Can't guarantee the perfect sound, but the patterns will be solid as.

The issue I'm having is when drawing in notes, if I have drawn in a kick on 1/8 timing in the first spot at full velocity, then want say a Ride also in that same spot and same timing, but at only 50% velocity, if I manually draw the velocity at 50% then the Kick and the Ride are now both at 50%. Hi again Reasonistas, I'm getting into drum patterns again, and I've run into a problem using Kong. If I need (for example) an open and closed hihat to trigger at the same time as the BD, how can I vary the velocity of, say, just one of the hihats, or make the one hihat change velocity between trigg...

I ended up trialling the Rob Papen Sub-Boom Bass and it is awesome. I can easily draw in a mice bass rhythm and apply patches that sound super 'real' - the sound quality and tones are just amazing - kickin bass problem sorted!
