I had to relocate my home studio to fit the desk in - I'm lucky I could reorganise things to get the extra space. The extra space is (almost) worth the -2C temperature coming through the all window room and uninsulated floorboards ....

Anyone have any good tips on studio desk setup? I have a max 1.5m width to play with, but currently using an Aldi 'office' desk which won't fit a full size keyboard (no room to put on a keyboard stand either). Ideally something like the SWAMP brand, with Monitor stands and keyboard/mouse slide out ...

I am going to try this on my next mix for sure. I do believe I have not been doing it right so far.

Oh sweeeet, I just ordered the P6, cannot wait to try it out, then cannot wait for the (Virtual St .... uh ....thing that shall not be named) upgrade!!

One of the things I enjoyed so much about Reason was its exclusivity...and that's not meant in a bad way. It means that you had to actually buy your way into Reason. There were no pirates, nor shitleeches on this forum. It was clean. I don't see that being the case anymore...unless the Pheads have ...

I know! How about a special forum only for very important, elitist, and special Reason users?? You could call it NO NOOBS ALLOWED - REASON ELITE WELCOME or something similar and then feel very important once you had accessed it? That way, everybody is happy!!! ; )

I see what I've done here. Just asking about which Re generates always so many diverse options and opinions, then expand that by a million or so for VST's !!....so many, so many ... my mind is in a knot! Having said that, this is a great way to get the insight into what people rate and what it's use...

I bought the Scarlett 2i2 and it is pretty good, does the job, looks nice, great input for mic and guitar. You will not have any worries. Enjoy.
