Re: Zero Latency Devices / Latency List
I'm sure this has been discussed (maybe on the old PUF), but how is zero latency even possible? Doesn't zero latency = instantaneous? If so, doesn't SOME amount of time have to pass for the cpu to process the incoming signal before it outputs the signal? Is this where latency compensation comes into...

Re: Master Inserts Section: What can this do for me?
Inserts are different from using the Rack View to place a FX device in that the insert point can be moved. You can have the insert be pre EQ/Dynamics, post EQ/Dynamics, or pre EQ, Post dynamics etc. Sometimes one routing order sounds better than another, and in that light it can be helpful to audit...

Re: Tryed mr overdrive and...
Have you guys contacted the developer about the bug? I hope so. I haven't experienced it, but I'm bound to at some point if it's happening so consistently with you guys. As with the McDSP EQ's, I'm surprised how much apathy there is toward REs with bugs. Either they haven't contacted the developer, ...

Re: Anyone using the McDSP EQ's?
Concerning the EQs: I can honestly say I am not having this issue with any of the McDPS EQs. It mainly has to do with the gain knob, correct? I have been tweaking the hell out of the gain knobs of all three devices, (quickly/aggressively, slowly) and I am not having any problems with the device los...

Me to am having this issue in win10 x64. I didn't contact mcdsp btw My god man, please email them. Let them know it's not just me! I'm surprised how laid back everybody is about having a buggy RE. Re: Anyone using the McDSP EQ's?
I would just like to remind everybody about the bug in all their EQ's and compressors that they have not fixed since I talked to them about it 3 months ago. Haven't heard a peep out of them. I have a project I've wanted to use them in for several months, and I literally cannot use them. I encourage ...

Re: Blamsoft Zero Hybrid Synth Song Challenge | The Announcement
Good luck everyone. Lots of great songs in this challenge. One thing that I worried about when finalizing my song was that basically every instrument patch I used came straight from the presets, which is contrary to the spirit of the "create your own sounds" that characterize Reason users, and synth...

Re: Bypassing the SSL Compressor with only some tracks
The easy way to setup a quick side chain filter in the SSL Master Comp is to insert a Stereo Imager (solo High Band) in the insert point, but move the outputs to the KEY input of the Master Compressor. Leave the "From Devices" unplugged, and be SURE to set the Master Insert to PRE Master Compressor...

Re: is Propellerhead dying?
Line 6. Who cares? It may come as a shock to you, but there's a whole community of Reason users that don't share your exclusive requirements. Simply because YOU don't see any value in the line6 plugins, is not to say that other's won't. Many guitarists do agree that the guitar amp was fairly crap, ...

Re: Bypassing the SSL Compressor with only some tracks
Also BTW, for bass heavy tracks I find the SSL master Compressor to work better with a side-chain HPF to reduce the reduction for the lower frequencies. Selig, what do you mean by "I find the SSL master Compressor to work better with a side-chain HPF to reduce the reduction for the lower frequencie...

I have a 5-6 year old first generation i7-960, and my current song project for the Zero song challenge has the cpu fully PEGGED 100%. You have pops and clicks? LOL. My song literally will not play, even if Reason is allowed 100% access to CPU, it's beyond choppy, beyond stutter. It's gridlock. And o...

Ok, I may have found the folder location for the Favorites on my own:
"C:\Users\NAME\AppData\Roaming\Propellerhead Software\Reason"
So do I simply copy the contents and put them in the same location in the clean Windows 10 install folder? (assuming the file structure is the same in W10)

I'm also curious about the m-audio complaints. I've had the oxygen25 for a while and had no trouble with it fortunately. But I don't doubt that some people do.
