Right, I did rather rush that. Here's the same chords progression again, but with a bit more finesse on the levels.
Orchestraish?

Re: Massive orchestra .rns
First attempt, many more to come.
I threw a few chords at it and this is what came out;
Can someone with better ears than mine tell me if this is sounding like an orchestra?
The tune is irrelevant.
What needs improving?

Re: Massive orchestra .rns
Will do, that would be a very useful way to get feedback and improvements to it too.
I'll need some help with reverbs esp, as I have never really got the hang of using them

Re: Massive orchestra .rns
Thansk mate. Copy/pasting won't really work I suppose, arrangement (i.e. deciding which instruments play which parts at which octaves etc.) is a thing in itself that requires at least as much attention as the composition itself Agreed, but having the basic tune already written will make orchestratin...

Massive orchestra .rns
Ok, as you may or may not know, I write bloody awful pseudo-classical-Celtic-ambient stuff. What I have wanted to create for a long time is a .rns, with my "orchestra" already set up and ready to record in it. This would have full strings, brass, woods, and a bit of timpani, arranged to sound the be...

Re: Spring Sale - Bundle & Save A Lot!
I'm pretty sure if you sent them a message saying exactly that and what you wanted to bundle together they would accommodate you as he done it for others in the past who owned several refills. Seems very helpful like that for people who previously bought and supported them. I'll give it a whirl...

Re: Re-Strings
That response you got isn't quite true. While devs do have no direct method to provide refunds, PH can, and regularly do; furthermore, they do not require developer permission to do so. Just ask PH directly. That reply was from the Props. I didn't try contacting the developer. Hello. I wish I could...

Re: Re-Strings
Just had a reply; I wish I could help you out but I'm afraid that refund on rack Extensions isn't allowed by our terms and agreements and so it is not technically possible for me to do. Truly sorry about this. Oh well, just bought myself an expensive lesson in thinking before acting. Mea culpa Mea c...

Well we all mess up sometimes. Good luck with the refund. Hope it works out.
Oh definitely. It's my error, I accept that fully. Buy in haste, repent at leisure.

Bought this and tried it, and , no offence meant to the makers, but I'm trying to get my money refunded.
Maybe just me, but everything sounds the same on it.

Re: String me up
Thanks to the excellent advice here my strings are now sounding a bit fair bit better. I've found the "resonant violin" combinator patch is fantastic. I've not used neptune*, but may try playing with that too. *Mind you, I've never used a Kong or a Dr Rex either, let alone 50% or more of the effects.

String me up
Back on my strings fixation guys. I'd like to build some strings combinators, as "go to's" for doing my stuff. I'd like one each for solo cello, viola, bass and violin, and one each for string sections of the same instruments, hopefully to get the most realistic string sounds I can. I have chambre s...

Re: Exported project as a wave than i reimported to master for the first time ever in reason and wow!!
Would someone kindly post a link to a .rns of a mastering chain? The explanations above are welcome and kind, but I'm sill at a loss as to how they would be routed, connected and used to be honest
