Fantastic update … so happy the DAW is getting some love!

System specs are in my sig. I'm on Sierra. ------------------- Well after much teeth gnashing, I tried a few things. Nothing seemed to work. Out of desperation, I restarted the computer, reloaded my audio drivers, and tried it again. And everything is fine. It's back to being snappy and responsive....

Thank you both for the reply. I'll fire up version 8 and see if I get the same problem. Anyone else of 10.12.x (Sierra) that can provide any input? Thanks. Your initial post is quite alarming! I, like Giles, am still on El Capitan, and personally am not interested in upgrading to Sierra anytime soo...
