So, anybody with an opinion on what is likely to happen when one registers it when 13 shows up?MrFigg wrote: ↑01 Jun 2023https://www.jrrshop.com/propellerhead-reason-upgrade
Use code GROUP at checkout.
Wonder If you buy this and then don’t register it until 13 shows up if it’ll work to get 13.

Why just Reason? I think if you're able to create synthesizers, effects and engineering processors, you can cater to the VST market.

Re: Should reason studios update the guis of old devices?
From a business perspective, they could benefit from doing so. It's an undebatable fact that all sorts of consumers are after fancy-looking things, like, yeah we all know that what matters is the final sound after all but many people would not purchase a guitar that looks ugly but sounds good, eithe...

Re: "I use Reason" reaction
I get that. I have not used Bitwig. I do use Reason, Logic, Live, and Protools. For me, Reason is where I find magic. Or as you would say the road. What features make Bitwig your choice? Some key things for me in Bitwig... 1) the browser is absolutely brilliant -- super fast, highly organizable 2) ...

Re: "I use Reason" reaction
Reason was accessible to the masses back in the day when it used to be a mere toy, so the masses regarded it as a toy. Reason was inaccessible to the masses when it became a serious DAW (Codemeter), so the masses continued to regard it as the toy it once was. Today Reason is once again accessible to...

I'm giving it 10/10 for this genre. Oh and I'm very picky, I usually do not like most of the music that I hear everday.

Martinic Kee Bass - A FREE bass synth that's actually very decent
I found this cute and very useful little bass synth, Martinic Kee Bass, physically modeled after the vintage Rheem Kee Bass. Has only a few controls, which I think is a good thing if you're going for that specific sound.
You folk can find it here:

Re: Change velocity on multiple notes quickly
Hello and welcome on board! You can select all your notes, hit F8 on your keyboard, and on the Tool Window that appears you'll see a tab titled Note Velocity. You can use the note velocity tools on there to change the velocity of all selected notes by or to a given value, scale them, or randomize th...

Re: Disabling high resolution in Reason 12.. Will it be possible?
You won't be able to disable it and it won't make any sense. Just use it at 100% scaling and you are done. I don't think that's right. I use it at 100% scaling and I'm not done. Takes an unneccessarily long while to insert a new device to the rack (just waited a good 10 seconds for an instance of E...

If you're testing this (?) you'll know soon I guess, please let us know your conclusion :) By "testing", I meant I just downloaded Reason 12 like a regular Reason+ user lol. I'm not in the testing team or anything, sorry for the wrong wording. My impression so far is that it is sloppy. Say I change...

Disabling high resolution in Reason 12.. Will it be possible?
I'm testing high resolution these days. The thing that concerns me more than how well it works or not is the fact that I simply don't need it. And I don't definitely don't need it to eat up the valuable resources of my computer either. But I'm interested in the new features of 12 as well. So, will I...

I'm just wondering if more people - new "customers" - stop by nowadays. I feel like it, but maybe it's just wishful thinking.

Random recording latency that can be corrected by re-selecting the audio interface
It's nothing new, I've had this problem for years. Just wanted to know if anyone else has had it as well. So say, I go into my booth to record some vocals. Record them. All good. A while later, I go in there again but this time when I put my headphones on I can hear a very apparent latency with my v...

Re: What are your top five devices at the moment?
1. Kong Every drum/percussion element gets its own Kong (and mixer channel, obviously) and the respective Kongs are named accordingly. For instance, Kong 1 is named Kick Drums. Kong 2 is Snares. Can layer sounds in a very convenient way. All Kongs routed to the [DRUMS] bus. I've found this to be th...

I wouldn't download and use them even if they were all freeware. Check out John Denver over here Lol. Ok. I'm sorry. We sho...

Splitting an audio signal into 400 channels - Any easy way other than connecting a few hundred Spiders?
OK, for a project I'm working on I need to split a same audio signal into 400 - yes you heard that right - different mix channels. If I ultimately have to, I will go down the route of adding endless Spider Audio Merger & Splitters next to each other and deal with all that cable clutter. Does anybody...
