Re: Multi-timbral VST workarounds in Reason
Yeah I've not used it as an audio interface either. I seem to have everything connected correctly within Element (as per your screenshots) LoopBe1 is installed and working. I have 3 external midi devices set to Loopbe and MIDI 1 2 and 3, but I can only get the Virus to respond on midi1, even If I d...

Access Virus Ti working in Reason - Tutorial Video
Here's a tutorial video on how to get an Access Virus Ti working in Reason. Hopefully it'll tide us over until Reason Studios pull the MIDI side of Reason up in line with all other DAWs. Ths may also work for other hardware that relies on multi-midi. Feel free to share the link, like or sub. Have a ...

Re: Multi-timbral VST workarounds in Reason
Hey Adam. For the Element workaround do you have to have the virus set as the main audio interface in Reason Prefs? It's been a while since I did this but no, I never used the Virus as my audio interface. In fact I don't think I've ever used the Virus as an audio interface! Yeah I've not used it as...

Re: Multi-timbral VST workarounds in Reason
Anyway, I really don't want to change my workflow and learn another DAW, and I especially won't purchase any other VST or whatever software element just to get a basic (for a DAW worthy of that name) MIDI feature Element is free now, if you wanted to try it out. I'm not even salty about paying for ...

Re: Full MPE support (Roli users unite!)
I own a Roli Seaboard and would like to see MPE support as this would not only help with MPE devices but the likes of the Access Virus Ti too. I've asked for years for this kind of MIDI support to be included but.... Never happened and I don't expect it'll happen any time soon, I gave up hoping.

It was a bit crap back in the day so this VST should be the same if it's accurate! xD

Re: Full MPE support (Roli users unite!)
Brings out Friktion - Doesn't support Roli.. Also every other DAW supports multitimbral MIDI. Why on earth in 2020 (and after years of asking) does Reason 'STILL' not support this? Limited to 1 track in Reason with an Access Virus Ti2, countless other systems can't be used to their full potential be...

Re: Multi-timbral VST workarounds in Reason
Gents. Haven't read through all of thread so this might have already been suggested but using Loopbe1, Midi-OX and Mystery Islands Virus Editor I am able to access Virus in full multitimbral mode. Place Editor in a Combinator and I can automate on any of 16 channels. I would post a screenshot but c...

Re: Reason 11.2 is here!
Can the Reason rack be used within Reason itself? I'm curious if this is the answer to get proper midi functionality with my Access Virus Ti2 and Virus Control plugin

Re: Ozone 8 Advanced in Reason - Any problems?
So I think I'm gonna buy Ozone 8 Advanced. But first I just want to see if there's any been any problems using it in Reason. Let me know your experiences. Unfortunately totally unusable in Reason due to CPU usage, I know its not CPU light but this is crazy. Immediately on instantiation it takes up ...

Re: Looking into Exhale and Vocalise.....
There’s also evoxa for some more processed sample vox stuff at $30 it’s worth a look. As I understand you can load your own samples into anything kontakt, thus into exhale and vocalise, you just have to go up the signal chain of the kontakt engine if you will. Someone even got shamed for not knowin...

Re: Looking into Exhale and Vocalise.....
If Exhale had a way to work with our own samples, I would have bought it. Seemed to have enough interesting vocal-specific modifiers I could use on my own stuff. Same with Vocalise, but a sample pack manipulator, albeit another nice one. Plus I've done away with most sample-based instruments, Konta...

Looking into Exhale and Vocalise.....
I'm looking to expand my 'vocal sounding' arsenal. Been looking into Exhale and Vocalise - Anything else I should look at? I'm kind of torn with these two, but at the moment Exhale is a tiny bit ahead for getting my money..

Re: Granular Synth Alternative: The Mangle
I've had Mangle a wee while. To me Grain is generally way better In what way? The honeymoon period (by 'honeymoon period' I mean the first hour or so of exposure) Grain was instantly fun, Mangle made you work. In that way, I'd agree. However... Once you start dabbling and dragging those mods to the...

Re: Reason's poor cpu performance
normen: I think your posts are confusing to non-experts. It is true that the code of a VST runs the same regardless of Reason. However, each DAW will have many other processes associated with hosting VSTs and those processes may be more or less efficient. The end user doesn't care about details of ...

Re: Reason's poor cpu performance
Sorry to be the bearer of bad news but even the most recent/powerful MacBook pro is a bit hopeless, that's me being kind. For the price of these things, you could have had a custom PC made, which would be far more powerful for music production. My mind boggles why people buy these things to do CPU ...
