Re: Can't get Reason 9.2 to "learn" keyboard controllers
You're trying to Learn in Reason, not on your board, right? Meaning, right-click on a knob or a slider or something on your Screen first, select the option to learn (second option down, forget exact wording atm) and THEN you move a slider or knob on your Board. Just trying to help. Seems like maybe ...

Re: Free VSTs
As a person who loves reggae that plugin is pure awesomeness. Thanks Boss you might also consider checking Nomad Factory oilcan which is my favorite. Never tried the Oilcan on it's own. I've been using Nomad's ECHOES for a few years, and it has an oilcan setting - not a bad echo. Never tried the oi...

Re: Free VSTs that don't Suck!
This is a good free VST - Only only oscillator but nice sound to it:- http://www.resonance-sound.com/product/cfa-sound-super-7-supersaw-vst/ Unfortunately Windows (and 32 bit) only... :( D. Yes Reason works on Windows too mate lol! and 32 bit, that sucks bigtime! 32bit VSTs in a 64 bit DAW uses mor...

To anyone reading this: Do you know who Voxengo is? If not, look at this page: http://www.voxengo.com/group/free-vst-plugin-download/ I've been using some of their plugs for close to a decade. Wonderful products, and they're free. They're not crap-ware or remotely buggy or unstable. In fact, Voxeng...

Re: Vengeance Sound's VPS Avenger is simply *THE BEST* VST synth on the market IMHO
This is kinda funny. It's like making a "The American Stratocaster is the best guitar on the market!!!" thread. The Strat is a 3 single-coil pickup electric guitar with a bolt-on neck. It can do Rock, Blues, Country like a boss. The Gibson 335 is a big, semi-hollow body guitar with dual humbuckers, ...

Re: VST fx that makes left and right pan levels even?
maybe this one? http://www.alexhilton.net/A1AUDIO/index.php/a1stereocontrol it doesn't do it automatically, but it gives quite a lot of control over the stereo field. I was going to suggest a Waves S1, but that looks way better   I'll have to pick that one myself - thoughtful featu...

Re: I hate how much I'm loving it
So is everybody here saying that as long as you don't touch anything, anything will continue to work? I can agree with that. But what's the point of stating that? Every piece of software is still working on what it was written. I can still play the same old games on my grand parent's old Apple IIe ...

Wow. Just read part of the replies. Pretty sure I got called a hypocrite??? Yeah, let's back the truck up here. Yes, Strat, I've used Reaper for years and yup, that 32bit bridge might have a lot to do with my lack of problems. Defensiveness is turning into hostility here and that's not where we want...

{It's really best explained above = IF you have a compatibility issue, you will likely* need to pay a small update fee} However, what I'm saying is very factual - your plugs are going to keep working even if you don't pay for updates. Re: VST developer question
I'm on mac, I have bought Over 2 k worth of Waves plugins and never upgraded. It has been over 5 years now I think. The possibility of breaking the software is rare to my knowledge and everything has passed its WUP except the recent ones which I bought last and this year. However, the WUP is capped...

Also, VST's do not stop working all of a sudden if you dont update them. They do not phone-home nor are they on any time release. VST's will not all of a sudden stop working on your computer because you didn't update them. :? I've got a few VSTs...fewer today than I thought I would because others h...

I've got VST's I've owned across multiple installs of different OS's - I have Waves plugs that I've never updated once that still work - again, you're not talking about what I'm talking about and you're only going to confuse people here. Some of my 32 bit plugs work just fine that I've owned nearly...

I had the thought earlier today to take a pic of my "recently used" section when I use Reaper. http://i68.tinypic.com/fm3ou1.jpg When I say I use VST plugs all the time, I'm completely not joking. Some of those in that list are 32bit plugs that have survived multiple OS changes and moving from one c...

Re: Andrew Skelton / SOFTPHONICS on VST in Reason 9.5
My video seems to have generated some real serious debate. And as I expected, a lot of hateful messages directly to me on several social platforms. It is sad that one can not speak freely these days. I try to make the point that RE can thrive now and developers need props to up thier game with sdk....

Re: Multiband Compressor Suggestion
I would grab the Waves C4 or C6.
Interestingly however, is the stock MB Compressor in Studio One is every bit as good as a Waves MB Comp.
I've used all 3 in question. A lot.
MB Comps are good to have on hand.

Re: RE: Re: I hate how much I'm loving it
"the fact that they crash' and "Vsts are absolutely not friendly on your processor" are both false and not factual statements or claims. Those are the types of misconceptions that in only a few months time will go away. I certainly didn't mean to imply Props products weren't of the highest quality....
