Re: Announcing Reason 13
What happens if you click on the second clip showed in this screenshot ? Will it be displayed from the beginning of the editing window ? Single click will do exactly that, as it will open the clip zoomed full width in the editor, which seems the preferred behavior to me. And if you open it in full ...

Re: Announcing Reason 13
The sequencer enhancements are not so much. I would love seeing more power tools in the midi editor, like strumming, velocity humanization controls like in FL and stuff like that. The onl new thing they are showcasing is that you can do ramps and the workflow itself with the split view that has cha...

Re: Announcing Reason 13
So it seems that wrong scroll behaviour of the sequencer which is major workflow issue for years is still ignored and it's not addressed at all: Single click on a clip will open it in the edit-view zoomed to that clip. Double click will open it in the edit-view while keeping the zoom position of th...

Re: Combining single images into filmstrip format
Blender can export the animation as separate images for each frame. I'm not aware of a frame-stitching tool inside Blender, but it should be possible to script that in Blender.

There are several filter REs that have this feature. Catalyst from Turn2on does it, and I think Red Queen EQ as well.False Mirror wrote: ↑TodayI’m very curious on the implementation of the continuous LP/HP filter in PolyTone. I’m not aware of any DSP algorithm doing that.

Re: Announcing Reason 13
I'll just miss the visual part of it since my rack units look so nice there :( I'm with you. I was hoping they would enhance the graphic capabilities of the browser, so we could have combinator-2 screens in there too. Well, that's not going to happen ever now. Nevertheless, tagging is the biggest w...

Re: Any sign of May Madness sale?
Aaaa...I love Junos but I have a load of Juno Plugins...so I'm covered for Juno pads. Is it worth getting for other stuff too? (harpsichord aside) Juno-ish is just a sonic reference, Zoetrope is definitely good for much bigger/different sounds as well. But to me, it is an ultimate pads machine. In ...

Re: Announcing Reason 13
Back in 2009 there was a synthesizer entry in the KVR developer challenge, that had this as its defining feature.
I dug it up for you: https://www.kvraudio.com/kvr-developer- ... 9/#dc09_35

Re: Announcing Reason 13
I'm talking about the device browser which stay as a separate window on the left side of the rack/sequencer. At least up until now we've been able to create custom groups which you could use to categorize devices, but now that the device browser has been simplified (as it does not include patches a...

Re: Announcing Reason 13
But what about two screens I mean can anyone from ReasonStudios tell me that you can still detach the main mixer or the sequencer and drag it to the other screen? I would be shocked if that was removed. I would guess the buttons at the top are not mutually exclusive, and you can enable them all at ...

Re: Announcing Reason 13
How the drag and drop handled with the new browser? Will it hides automatically? In the old browser, you can step through presets, and they load in the device with preset-focus (that orange highlight). If the new browser would close every time you select a preset, that functionality would be gone. ...

Funny how the most important strong points for him are all the ways that you can link the 808 to other gear, and Reason being the only DAW that actually matches this kind of flexibility in software

Re: Any sign of May Madness sale?
Does C4 saturate / distort the signal same as MBC if it's pushed into the limits ? I have no idea, I don't have C4 myself. It just occurred to me that the configuration is similar, so I followed several videos and got very usable results that way. MBC has more options, like a variable knee setting ...

Re: Any sign of May Madness sale?
I've been stocking up on saturation stuff lately. Grabbed Turn2on's triple band saturator and Skrock's SMFX Dual Saturator today. Still eying that Ekks Auto X Compressor, but I think I need to reserve some funds for that thingy that's about to drop next month
