Re: New Roadmap (December 2022)
This forum is ridiculous and so closed minded sometimes. Half the topics come from the same people because there's so many lurkers here who dare not step foot with an opinion for fear it might trigger the thought police that run rampant around here. Might I respectfully suggest you get off th...

Re: New Roadmap (December 2022)
I meant should because we all know it will based on previous RS statements, but it read differently to some. The word "will" would have been more appropriate and avoided confusion. Well, let's make a wager then. If by the end of 2023 there is even one core DAW functionality or workflow improvement ...

Re: New Roadmap (December 2022)
Wow, RS finally honors a roadmap, I thought there’d be a bit more of a celebratory tone overall… Everyone is free to disagree, but don't put words in my mouth or call me a conspiracy theorist for trying to suggest something that makes the product better for perpetual users. SMH To be fair, people a...

Re: New Roadmap (December 2022)
Yes, Mimic was a planned part of the release for version 12 Joey. As I stated, it was just good business to do so and anything else would have been poorly received. Imagine how many users are still on 1080p monitors. Never mind the considerations around who actually makes use of combi's vs those tha...

Re: New Roadmap (December 2022)
Bare minimum, core DAW functionality and or workflow improvements should affect everyone in 2023. This makes no sense at all. How could DAW improvements NOT affect everyone? There is no difference between the R+ and the R-perpetual product, it is one product. The only difference is the payment sche...

Re: New Roadmap (December 2022)
Well stated. On the surface, it's an encouraging update. I guess we'll see what the below reference actually means though: Call me cynical, but my gut tells me that statement should have ended with "for R+ subscribers". Regardless, I bit the bullet on 12 UG (perp). Hopefully Monday's upda...

Well stated. On the surface, it's an encouraging update. I guess we'll see what the below reference actually means though: During 2023 we’ll keep adding features to Reason 12 to continue making it the best version of Reason ever Call me cynical, but my gut tells me that statement should have ended w...

Re: Reason 12 with VST3 Beta has arrived
If you're not already in beta, I wouldn't worry about it. I'm sure reports are being submitted, but you wouldn't know if they were since there's no transparency (IE. freq, issue submitted, dev status). Meat and potatoes testing is facilitated from an individual perspective via private ticketing chan...

Re: ASIO Studio USB Asio Driver disappeared
You have to use the Windows 10 driver now. I use a Studio68c with no issues under Windows 10 Home (similar driver package, plays audio in DAW and browser as needed, etc). Can you confirm this is the driver package you've been downloading and working with? https://www.presonus.com/products/Studio-24c...

https://youtu.be/xneFdYRV_gM These are supposed to be included in FL 21. I’m hoping these IR’s will be in there own folder so I can import them into the RV7000 MKII. Can confirm, a FREE download for FL 21 owners. They're under the 'Library' tab of the browser: https://www.propitious.me/FLStudio/und...

Re: FL Studio 21
Yeah, they definitely had Ryan's Bassline Generator 1.1 update in the wings, hah. Image-Line really hit this one out of the park. I can't even imagine what's next over the course of another year or two. The amount of improvement is staggering. ARA is slated for 21 at some point.

Re: Audio Recording Overflow!!!
You're not alone. I've seen this exact problem reported on MAC on numerous occasions while surfing around various forums, example: https://www.reddit.com/r/reasoners/comments/b3vu6f/audio_recording_overflow/ Nobody seems to have an answer either. Reason being Reason... I'd open a ticket. You shouldn...

Re: Reason Controller Keyboards
Ahh, I remember you talking about this keyboard maybe last year. May I ask what are the faders like? Do they have a soft takeover similar to Nektar's? Do the faders need it as in it works a different way. Thank you The faders jump directly to the new value when moved - BUT, I don't use them often b...

Re: Is is possible to have a start up template with Q-Record already set?
I assume so but it's probably easier to check than to make a thread about it, wait for people to troll your thread, get bored of doing that then eventually get a definitive answer. (spoiler - the answer is yes) I'd have spit coffee out if I was drinking any... I follow a lot of forums, but I've jus...

Re: Black Friday Week 2022
60% off R+ is a pretty sweet deal. Even I would be tempted if I didn’t own R12 and most of the devices. And I’m an anti-sub kind of guy. Not when you are already a subscriber. This is all about new users. No benefits for existing users. If we could cancel and take advantage of the discount we could...

Re: Reason 12 with VST3 Beta has arrived
Will there be ARA implementation? I wouldn't expect it since Reason already has a built-in editor, albeit, one that doesn't support polyphonic detection. Theoretically, that puts it low on the priority list. Perhaps with VST3 support it could find it's way into the mold in a distant future state if...

I mean, you're certainly entitled to your preconceived notions of my or anyone else's knowledge on any topic in these forums. *Shrug* As a developer, you either use a dongle or you don't. Dongles work. If you choose not to, don't complain to me about piracy and turn your licensing vehicle into a re...

Re: Black Friday Week 2023
This is something all developers moving to a fulltime online requirement, "online timebombs" in user licensing ... That's not what online requirements are for. Basically ... until you start working for a company whose software is pirated heavily you'd have no idea how many active users don't have a...

Re: Black Friday Week 2023
Oh so now posts are being removed - nice mods. RS is offering 30% off products and that's well below the last sale..... Support 3rd party developers and boycott RS products. Is that better mods. I think the key takeaway is R+ subs get treated like actual users with 50% off both monthly and annual. ...

Re: Black Friday Week 2023
They need to update on VST3 this week along with a confirmed stance on offline authorization and where that stands in RS's future. It would be nice to see this prior to the sale ending. Otherwise, I wouldn't put it past RS to move goal posts after they get your money from the BF sales event. I would...
