Polymoog Vox Humana (Thor)
I've been using a NN-19 multi-sample of a genuine Polymoog Keyboard for years to get that classic Gary Numan 'Vox Humana' sound. I recently bought the Cherry Audio 'Polymode' plug-in, which fully recreates the Polymoog (and adds quite a few bonus extras). Using Polymode as a guide, I translated the ...

Re: In the market for a new MIDI controller
Just a quick update to let you know that I took delivery of a T6 today, and I'm already finding it a huge step up from what I've been using in the past. Bought an expression pedal with it, and that's a revelation in itself!
Thanks for your recommendation! Much appreciated.

Re: Your Upgrade History?
Started out with Reason Adapted which came bundled with M-Box 1. It was allegedly possible to run the Pro-Tools LE (which was also bundled) in parallel via ReWire, but my PC was very low-powered. My bandmate had really taken to Reason since the beginning, and I was seriously impressed by what he cou...

Thanks for the reply.

In the market for a new MIDI controller
I'm currently in the market for a new MIDI controller keyboard for use with Reason. Currently, I own an Alesis QX49 (4-oct, 8 sliders, 8 knobs) and an Arturia Minibrute (2-oct with aftertouch). I use the QX49 the vast majority of the time, mainly because of the span and the number of MIDI Continuous...

Vangelis' "To The Unknown Man" guitar lead
I decomposed the Arturia CS-80 V sound and rebuilt it using two instances of Thor. I think I got pretty close.

(Berlin School) Flüssiger Vier Takter - Reason 1.0 Challenge
Hi, I'm Grant Middleton, one half of the retro / Berlin School band Under the Dome. We recorded the original version of this track in 1998 on a Pro-Tools III system, using hardware synths. We thought we'd revisit it using only the Reason 1.0 devices for the Song Challenge :reason: . There's a bit of...
