Spitfire Audio BBC Orchestra with Reason?
Is anybody using Spitfire Audio BBC Orchestra with Reason? I'm having trouble getting it to recognize it; it's a VST2 plug-in - shouldn't that work? Thanks for any insights...Allen

Re: automating mixer fade
Thanks! However, that works with individual tracks, but doesn't seem to when I try to record the main fader moves - there's no sequencer lane to record the fader movement into.

automating mixer fade
This is probably a no-brainer: but for the life of me I can't figure out how to automate the main mixer fader (or a line mixer) in order to record a studio fade. I used to be able to do this - and I know how to automate various parameters related to individual tracks. Should a a mixer lane be setup ...

Re: Can I undo razor cuts?
Took me a few days to get back to this, but I want to thank you heartily for taking the time to answer. I didn't even know how to select multiple clips at once - but after looking in the manual, I now do. And now that you've enlightened me regarding the "command-J" thing, I've printed out all the sh...

Can I undo razor cuts?
It would be really convenient - in terms of being able to move tracks around more easily - if I could undo earlier razor cuts. Surely this possible?
Thanks, Allen

recording midi track to audio
I've recently learned how to use an external synth with Reason, and have successfully created an external MIDI instrument in the rack along with an associated audio track. My piece of music includes a track recorded in the sequencer for my old D-550 - and that plays back along with all the internal ...

Re: Novation Bass Station not showing in mixer
Firstly: thank you so much for responding. Secondly - your explanation was perfect; I understand, and it all works now. My MIDI chops and conceptualizing are a bit rusty, from having worked entirely within the Reason environment for a long time. It's definitely time to break out my old Ensoniq ESQ a...

Novation Bass Station not showing in mixer
I'm using it as an external MIDI instrument and it is sounding, controllable from my master keyboard, and from the virtual rack - but why doesn't it show up as an instrument on the mixer, so that I can control (for example) it's pan, etc?

On a related topic: is it possible to remove or delete a razor cut? And if so, how? Thanks!

Re: note velocity in Pangea samples
Thanks - but that only seems to make the three levels of velocity equally louder; but I can still only detect three volume levels on the sample (soft, medium, loud). It's a disappointing lack of subtlety in the sampling.

note velocity in Pangea samples
I'm using the guitar harp sample from Pangea in several pieces, and have only now noticed that there seem to be only three sample velocities to utilize; this explains why my editing of the velocity bars of individual notes (in the effort to get more fluid phrasing volumes) in the sequencer seemed to...
