I'm letting my R+ subscription expire
FWIW Dept: I've worked with Reason since v6, upgraded many times and currently own a license to v12. I've purchased several Reason devices and many 3rd party rack devices over the years. I'm mostly using Live these days and have VSTs that cover a lot of ground. Sad to say, I don't think I'll miss R+...

Re: RUN BUTTON: The worst thing about Players
Why not use the mixer's Mute button? Can that be automated? FWIW: I'm a big "no" on the need for clip launcher in Reason. Reason is not a clip player. Never has been. Doesn't need to be. You have the RRP to use in DAWs which excel at clip launching, if that's your jam. Let Reason be Reason, man. Pea...

Thanks. Yeah, I was not looking in the right place. BTW: For my need I looked in the Rack Extensions folder and found what I needed.huggermugger wrote: ↑30 Jul 2023Sure it's possible. You might have to navigate to the Factory Combis folder or your own presets folder, but it works just fine.

Load Combinator patch in RRP?
Is it possible to load a Combinator preset into a RRP instance? I know we can load an empty Combinator, but I don't see any Combinator presets in any of the preset lists.
Thanks.
Thanks.

Nektar Aruba: How is it for Reason control?
Curious how others are finding the Nectar Aruba/Aura for controlling Reason. I'm not finding many videos or posts about it, so wanted to check the group prior to purchasing.
Thanks.
Thanks.

Yes. I missed this. But this enlarges everything. It would find it more useful to enlarge the rack, for example. But this works. Thanks.

Change rack device size?
Just checking to see if I missed it:
Is there a way to increase the size of rack devices in the Reason DAW? I can do it in RRP, but haven't found a way in the Reason DAW.
Thanks.

Pardon me for dropping in unannounced. Are you all discussing using the StreamDeck to control Reason or to control Reason within a video capture scenario?

Re: AI - Cheating or just evolution?
Radical, but it might be time for some to shift to acoustic instruments. Less chance for AI interference. Honestly. I’m OK with something being called ‘art’ or ‘music’, etc. As long as the creator/s (in this case coder/s) are acknowledged. Lastly, haven’t jingles, pop, country already succumbed to a...

Selectively hiding individual plugins?
Is there a way to selectively hide certain VST plugins? I know we can turn off entire folders, but that removes from the list all plugins in that folder. Example: If I uncheck "VST" folder, all VST 2 plugins are hidden. Not what I need as there are a few VST 2 plugins I do need access to. Thanks for...

RRP crash report
Reason+ running on Mac mini M1.
Added RRP to a small, 3 track Logic Pro X project. The RRP had a Bass Line Generator and the Monotone Bass synth. As soon as I tried changing a Monotone preset, Logic crashes. Tried a few times, once after a Restart.

Only the AU versions of RRP shows in Studio One 5.5.2. And the AU won’t pass on MIDI from Players…. I am sad.

Re: Looking for "Reason to RRP" Workflow Ideas/Tips
So again my point is to really make the RRP something that people embrace has a modular environment... If not, just issue Friktion, Europa, Grain or Kong as VSTs, a lot of people would buy... Reason issued Europa as a VST many years back. If that sold well, it seems they would have followed that wi...

Re: Returning Reason user since version 2.0 - Midi Keyboard?
I use the T4. Really nice unit. Keys feel good. It has great control over Reason. I use faders for mixer, on board transport control and use the View button to switch views (mixer to rack, etc.). Very convenient. Price is great at +- $250. Control over soft synths is good as well, especially if you ...

Re: Nektar or another controller?
I landed on a Nektar T4 after trying the Novation Launchkey MKIII. The T4 has much better support for Reason. Other than needing to lock the keyboard to the mixer on new projects (I could save a template), it has great control options built in. One standout feature is the soft control of the faders....
