Re: Nektar Panorama Remote Maps Thread
I feel bad hijacking a stickied thread, but has anyone gotten the Panorama P1 working with R12 on Win11? The firmware update utility doesnt work, the devices don't autodetect, and there is definitely some wonky behavior (skipping tracks with the track+ or track- buttons, loop not working, etc...) Is...

Re: Are you taking advantage of blocks?
I think blocks would be more useful of they let you sequence over block tracks in an additive way without having to duplicate all the tracks involved. If they don't want to do that, then give us track folders so I can clean up my sequencer.

Re: New Pricing for Reason 12 - Upgrades now 199 from 129
Can we all agree that the pricing model has taken a huge dump on long term supporters of reason and move on? I'm upgrading to 12 because i can no longer work in low res. I'm not sure they can bring anything of more value unless there is a future suite upgrade so I can have their newer instruments at...

Re: What would your ideal Combinator upgrade look like?
Not being able to use a combinator in an insert section boggles my mind because it is so unintuitive. Technical limitations aside, these quirks come off as arbitrary within the fantasy of a virtual rack. Its even worse that many factory sound bank FX patches that are really suitable as inserts are C...

Re: Does Reason need to join the party and get its own controller?
Since Reason doesnt have any particular workflow (there are near infinite ways to accomplish anything with a modular rack), the most ideal thing might be that we all jump onto the next controller that comes out with a bunch of rotary encoders and buttons and hope the community can make a great remot...

Re: What will a perpetual licence upgrade bring?
How did you have made the announcement and tried to reach new ppl investing in Reason? They are doing just fine with new customers, and everyone should realize that is also good news for us. When it comes to connecting with their existing community, I really wish they would end the secrecy about ne...

Re: What will a perpetual licence upgrade bring?
i love reason but a marketing announcement that was totally without new features was a tipping point for me. I bought Cubase 11. im tired of waiting for new features when they are elsewhere. A bunch of threads here are essentially tempering their expectations for R12. I'll do my best to live in the ...

Re: Reason updates (11.3.7 / 11.3.8) and Reason+
Certainly expected by many so not a suprise. RRP was probably a boon for sales, and R+ is just marketing 101: sell the same product to different people for different amounts. What i did hope to see was a hi-res reskin as a good-faith point release and not as R12. Wishful thinking for sure, but I fee...

Re: PX7 - Removed from Shop?
I'd bet that this is either a shop error or the fallout of a behind the scenes legal battle. I was under the assumption that px7 was an emulator of the original engine - the product seems feature complete and final. Another thing on my mind is the webpage to convert original dx7 patches to px7 patch...

Re: A-List Guitar REs Sale (& Discontinuation)
the acoustic ones are a great tool... i dont keep a guitar mic rigged up in my small space, nor do i have a nylon string guitar.
i'll play my own electric guitar, though...
if you cant play a guitar, i'd recommend the whole bundle, even though i have had some programming issues ...

Re: Comping multi mic takes
I have suggested a feature that would "lock" clips together to ensure that comps, slice edits, or pitch edits could be synced together, and that dragging one on the sequencer would bring the others to the same location in time. I'm glad to see this being discussed, this is the first I've seen others...

does mackie MCU protocol mean that this thing just works with reason for transport and fader/solo/mute automation control? i'm on the fence picking up an x32 and i havent seen a detailed account of how well it might integrate with the reason mixer when used as an audio interface.

Re: Behringer WING is unleashed after a month of teaser trailers
A year later, has anyone used this thing in their studio? The concept of a console mixer is a bit foreign to me since i live in the reason rack. However, if this thing can be used as an audio interface with Reason, that would be game changing for some people who prefer to mix out of the box and want...

could you explain why? what does it do in relation to a knob like control? This kind of ball mouse is a relic from an earlier time. Re: Which feature requests are most important to Reason DAW users? (oh boy here we go again)
1. "Freezing tracks" or rendering tracks as audio would go a long way. any change to the track in the rack or sequencer would trigger an unfreeze and a return to real-time mode. Also, running out of CPU should trigger an option to start rendering tracks as audio. This is something that can be done o...

Re: The R2R group announces they have cracked Reason 11
I'm disappointed for the reason studios team that their hard work may have been released online by some unscrupulous people.
To consider the bright side, I hope that the kids who try it out consider buying software and supporting devs in the future when they can afford it.
