Today marks the release of the tenth iteration of Reason in 17 years. It has come a long way for sure while retaining its core principle. The out of the blue announcement of Reason 10 sparked quite a debate among Reason users, just as every other release. After seeing the new devices in detail in the three Live Streams and during the public beta, the dust has settled quite a bit. The new synths seem to be rather good after all.

Reason 10 also includes three new sampled instrument collections created in collaboration with Soundiron. Klang Tuned Percussion includes 10 high-quality sampled melodic percussion instruments that are perfect for modern pop and electronica. Pangea World Instruments includes 11 world instruments that add a unique flavor to any genre of music. Humana Vocal Ensemble is a collection of choirs and solo vocals, perfect for adding a human touch to film scores, soundtracks and more.
Moreover, Reason 10 ships with Propellerhead’s acclaimed Radical Piano instrument and Synchronous Effect Modulator – previously only available as Rack Extensions via the Propellerhead Shop.
