Propellerhead announce Reason 10 Intro

After retiring Reason Essentials, Propellerhead announced a new version of Reason: Reason 10 Intro. You can buy this version of Reason for USD99/EUR79 by visiting the Propellerhead Shop here. It is also available for sale in other retailers such as Musician’s Friend, Guitar Center, and others.

Once you own Reason 10 Intro, you can upgrade to the fully-featured version of Reason for USD299/EUR269.

Reason 10 Intro includes 10 instruments (notably including the Europa Shapeshifting Synthesizer, but is missing Grain Sample Manipulator), the 3 Player devices, 11 effects modules, and a handful of utilities such as the Combinator, Pulsar Dual LFO, Line Mixers, and Spider Audio and CV Merger/Splitters.

The Intro version includes all of the features of the main version of Reason with one major exception: Reason 10 Intro is limited to 16 tracks (audio or mix).

Still available, however, are all the regular Reason features such as: SSL mix channels, VST and Rack Extension support, Slice and Pitch edit, 3.7GB stock sound bank, ReGroove Mixer, and more.

Projects started in Reason 10 Intro can be opened and continued in the full version of Reason.
