Hi- My first upload! This is cool- there are people in this community that are composing music that I fit in with!

This is an homage to Klaus Schulze, composed right after his passing in April 2022. It doesn't sound exactly like him, but I think it captures the essence of the styles he inspired.

I used Reason (was it still v.11 then? Otherwise, 12). Several instances of Thor, and Europa, the Bass Synth, Parsec, Algoritm. Klang and more. Lots of reverb and echo of course :-).

I think the Klaus Schulze vibe is captured quite well. This reminds me of my high school days, when Klaus Schulze was a thing (80s). Incidentally, Klaus Schulze is one of the hottest names in the music scene. I think speakers of English don't understand at all what a conventional name this is in German. Is there actually something equivalent in English as an artist name?

Hi. I’m unfamiliar with the name Klaus Schulze so I came to your piece of music as an original. And it’s beautiful. When I first saw the length was 22 minutes, I thought I would probably struggle to complete it, but I was wrong. I was held all the way to the end. The feel, sounds and production on this are excellent. Please keep posting your work on here. I loved how the track slowly developed and changed all the way to the end. That choice of a trickling sound at the end was perfect.

Saw him perform in Edinburgh many years ago, I think an english alternative to his name would be something like 'John Smith', as bland and as generic as you can get in a name.

Yes. But there is no Artist around, called "John Smith". That's the Point.

There is an established folk singer here in the UK called John Smith.

I liked where the movement started to flow around the 5 minute mark. I could definitely hear some Tangerine Dream influences in there :)
I'm a new singer/songwriter, but have had exposure to Reason for many years with my partner Benedict Roff-Marsh. I use Reason for composition and synthesis.
