Selig ART Vinyl: "Without the Scratches"
This is in response to a thread about removing the "scratches" from ART's Vinyl preset.

I realized I still had access to use the tools we used to create the original presets for Audiomatic. I found I could isolate the rumble and noise parameters to accurately recreate those effects. I then "shot" the frequency response with FuzzMeasure and precisely matched the EQ curve. Finally I added a Pulveriser for some "dirt". But the one thing I DIDN'T do is add scratches.
I spent a while going back and forth between the original and my version, and they're pretty damn close IMO. But see for yourself, I've included an ART in the setup and there's a "Compare" button on the front panel so you can easily compare. Additionally, you now have separate control over Rumble and Noise. I retained the Gain and Volume controls of the original. Finally there's a More Dirt button, who's function I hope is obvious.
If anyone finds bug, please let me know. Otherwise…Enjoy!
UPDATE - fixed missing Input Gain control for Rotary 1 - thanks to Bigsby for catching this!

Thx for doin' this ,Selig !
i'm sure this will be more acurate then the "REQ131 solution", and now we can ever add dirt, & i love goin' dirty sometimes
It's only one band of EQ and a tiny bit of LPF way up high - very simple actually (it was the easiest part of the Combinator!).Emian wrote: Thx for doin' this ,Selig !

Remember you can go inside the Combinator and adjust things, or substitute a Scream for the Pulveriser's dirt, or maybe decide you don't want to cut the highs THAT much on the EQ. Sky's the limit.
You could even mix in a little of the original ART patch if you wanted a few scratches in there.
