Picked up the neve EQ, neve comp, api graphic, and russian comp in the sale today. Quickly threw them over some multi-tracked acoustic drums and they sound really good. The saturation from the preamp "gain" is quite subtle, but adds some noticeable heft; it would be nice if it could be pushed a little harder, but it's still adding a bit of something as-is.

The graphic is great on snare drums and I imagine would sound excellent on electric guitars (all the places the real unit excels).

I've been using the russian comp VST for years, and the RE seems to work just as well. Nice to have it running natively and perhaps with a lighter footprint.

I've been doing a bit of mastering over the last couple of days and I randomly put the red rocks British eq model a in my mastering chain at the top and it sounds fantastic.
