But trance never been popular. House has always been much more popular. IMHO.
So I am happy. I love trance, though I'm stuck in the 90s.

I like how there's two options for progressive house but nothing for just plain house music. It's very confusing.

Luckily there was 3 other genres I could vote for but house music would be the 4th.

Somewhat broad genres to choose from, which affects my choices a lot.
I understand thought that there is no perfect list except a very long one that would require a lot more votes to make a pattern. I actually don't like most drum'n'bass or jungle at all, yet I very much like some sub-genres and specific styles associated most with those genres.
My last choice should have been some form of big beat genre, but I found the breakbeat genre too narrowly described in the list, so I went with Electro, that I am somewhat partial to.
It's interesting to see a pattern emerge, though it doesn't really mean anything concrete.
Many people have unclear views of genres, some think genres are always too narrow and shouldn't be used, and some change their tastes continuously for example.
