Looking at my very old edirol interface that is no longer supported for Windows 10... Yet I've managed to get it working... I'll use it til it breaks, then.

Re: MIDI Keyboard off by one semitone
Have you tried changing the program on your controller? They tend to come with a few mapping programs for different daws. If you are in the correct one, try just switching them about. Usually that helps, either that or just switching the controller off and back on.

Re: Selig Color EQ evaluation, My subscription
Hi Caleb, I don't have that re, but I can tell you, the q is a parameter that changes the width of the band you are modifying.. i.e, how thick or thin the curve will be, and thus affecting more frequencies, or less frequencies. This will of course change the character of the effect, and given this i...

Re: Has your Workflow changed/Improved Since reason 10?
Europa and grain have basically monopolised the rack, Thor barely gets touched and now I mostly use it for noises and the step sequencer. Additionally, like xylyx, the players and CV tap have opened a new world for me; there is no new project I work with that isn't loaded with player devices everywh...

Re: Note Repeat Question Using RPG8
Not sure what you mean. You input long notes (usually doe chords) and they get arpeggiated. Once you are happy with your settings, it is possible to send the arpeggiated midi data to your device lane, where all the individual notes will appear. Is that what you need?

I have only started learning to use it, so pardon me if these things are already possible, but would be great to have repeats/flam and probability like on the drum sequencer! I know there is ratchet, but it's not (I think) customizable like on drum sequencer? I need to play more with it, it is not ...

I think I read somewhere that this isn't possible with Reason?
Correct me if I'm wrong, though, I have vocal synth 1 but I can't remember if I got it to work like that or not...

Re: Izotope Ozone - how to master with plug-ins?
Well... Hire a mastering engineer, that would be the best. If you want to try yourself, I suggest you work on the standalone application. Important: Render your song at 24 bit without dithering. Make sure it is not clipping before rendering; you don't need -6 dB, but that's a fool proof number to ma...

Well, the one from you learn is pretty good and if you pin the window and keep it on the right side so that you only see the numbers, it can do what you are after. No second input for comparison though.

Hey there, thanks for stopping by! I have been mixing and mastering this track today (for the hundredth or so time, I guess? I started this song nearly 4 years ago...) How can I improve the sound of this track? Any feedback appreciated :) https://soundcloud.com/phillip-o/i-love-you-solvi-linn/s-s0L5...

Re: Issue with Transient Shaper + M/S processing technique
I guess you have a passing issue. If you split the signal you need to have the same devices on mid AND side. Reason does not PDC in your fx chain. Just put the same devices on mid and let them do nothing, do not bypass them. That makes sense, Loque. I added the same effect to the mid chain on a sim...

Issue with Transient Shaper + M/S processing technique
Alright guys, I will try to explain this the best I can: Like many of you, probably, I too like doing mid/side processing on my master channel... There is a technique which involves reducing the transients to the side channel, however in practice, I can't seem to get it to work on Reason without neg...
