Re: New CPU gives worse performance.
Cheers all for the input. Yeah I had windows 7 before and now Windows 10 so it’s maybe that. And yes onboard graphics. I’ve followed all the optimization instructions but no great improvement :(. Every computer I have optimized according to Antelope incstructions have been great after optimization....

Re: New CPU gives worse performance.
Sit down and take deep breath. Most likely you need to turn off powersaving features in Windows. You don’t have hyperthreading in your processor so it does not really matter if you turn it off or on. Turn on multicore rendering, you need this. Follow the instructions here and your PCs performance w...

Re: New CPU gives worse performance.
I should maybe also add that the old CPU benchmarked at 3.7 and the new one benchmarks at 7.4. Confusing. Also I don’t have that much stuff going on. A Kong plus drum sequencer, Nautilus playing 2 notes, a run combinator, an ABL3 and a Grain with a little bit of automation. As soon as I throw in an ...

New CPU gives worse performance.
I’m a bit confused. I had an old Intel i5 2.67GHz processor with 8GB DDR2 RAM. Reason 9.5 worked just fine whatever I threw at it. The pc broke so I bought a new one with a new i5 3.0 GHz processor and 8GB DDR3 RAM. Now Reason 10 is crackling and popping and saying the pc is too slow. I’ve turned in...

Re: Aquios X4 Workstation ROM is on sale
I don't think this is a fair comparison, AX4 is a good instrument quite deep, the patches are layered so you have far more flexibility than with the AEON stuff. At this price, no regrets will be made, I think this instrument would be great for a song starter or finisher. I tried to resist but think...

Re: An update on copyright...
I am really having a hard time wrapping my head around the support this guy is getting when he intentionally deceived others, stole another's IP, and made money off of it criminally. Yeah, I have zero concern for him but rather for the original sample owners and those users who purchased these. One...

Re: An update on copyright...
Innocent until proven guilty. I don't think people are seeking to apportion blame, I know I'm certainly not. I'm mostly interested in what happens in these circumstance when people have purchased stuff from the shop they can no longer use through no fault of their own. For me I lost the price of a ...

Now my KB37 is working :):). Now I’m not getting any sound from Balance even though it’s recognised and selected. Unplug / plug in works...sometimes. Oh well .

Re: Auto-Detect Midi Controller
One thing to be careful of is your browser, they can take control of the midi port and hence not make it fully available to Reason, I had issues with chrome until I found that settings... the other test to do just in case something else is getting it's hook in is to reboot and start Reason straight...

Re: Auto-Detect Midi Controller
I think now it is a windows 10 Problem. There musr some midi controller inside win conflict with the nektar. I found a article about this in microsoft. For the people who are interested copy it here at the end. I also found out if i uninstall the nektar while my mistake is happend, and than turn of...

Re: Animus/ Spring
Try the spring reverb setting on RV7000 first if you haven't and compare. Sometimes cheaper or even free alternatives works fine or even better. I remember trying Softubes Tube Delay and thought that Echo sounded just as good and had way more options. And that's a stock device. I most certainly wil...

Animus/ Spring
Quick question. Kind of need a decent spring reverb for guitar. Was looking at Softube but just read somewhere that Animus also has a setting. Can’t test them as I’m at work so wondering if anyone would be good enough as to shed some light. Thanks if you can .

Re: Auto-Detect Midi Controller
Reason used to auto-detect my M-Audio Midi Keyboard for instant playability when opening a new session. As of a few weeks ago, it no longer auto-detects. I have to go into preferences, control surfaces and click auto-detect even though it shows the keyboard already recognized. This started happenin...

Re: Has anyone worked with AEON Synth Virtual Instrument?
For what it’s worth, I bought the bundle and thought it was so bad that I wrote to Propellerheads and had them take it off my account so I’d never have to see it again. But that’s just my opinion of course. .

Re: Slow RE download speed
I suppose RE downloads to be split onto a bunch of servers like this: * server1: RE A, B, C, D, ... * server2: RE G,H, I, .... Now if RE H gets popular due to a sale and also happens to be of significant size, then server2 will see quite some traffic load and the download of RE G,H, I, ... might be...

Re: Slow RE download speed
I ran into some slow downloads last week trying to DL Re-Tron. guessing it has to do with the amount of people trying to download stuff they’ve bought for May Madness. but that’s all it is; a guess. Yeah. I wondered if it works in an individual RE basis. Like it goes slower if a load of people are ...

Re: May Madness is on!
Nah. I askes them and they said that it didn’t look like it. So for €50 than the upgrade folks got the whole bundle. Oh well. Still good value :). IIRC, they put the updates from 1 to 2 on sale at one point. Well here’s hoping :). Time will tell. But, like I said above, props said it’s not likely n...

Slow RE download speed
Hej, Does anyone have any idea why, when I sync all, some REs are downloading much slower than others irrespective of size. For example, this morning Expanse zoomed down the line whereas JP Republik is still downloading after 15 minutes. I've checked my internet speeds and they are as they should be...
