Re: YouTube | For the First Time, I'm SCARED of A.I. as a Music Producer
Idk, AI isn’t generated out of thin air, it requires serious hardware and energy to generate prompts. Who is paying for it now and will that income be enough to sustain it into the future? If AI becomes so widespread that it starts to train itself on other AI generated content, will that impact the ...

Re: A.I music will take over
I'm wondering if we'll get a boom-bust cycle like what happened with crypto mining. Generative AI seems quite intensive from a hardware perspective, so how sustainable is the business for sites? Are they largely propped up with venture capital that may dry up in the future? Will garbage in - garbage...

Re: Can't Login To My Reason Studios Account.
If clearing the browser cache didn't work it may be an ad blocker or other extension causing parts of the website to not load. If you have a browser like Brave you may try to turn off the Brave Shields for reasonstudios.com . Or, if you have another browser with uBlock Origin or a similar extension,...

Guys, I solved it!
For those of us who are sick of waiting for Reason 13, I just accidentally found the solution. All you have to do is download the update of 12 and open it in Finder (This works in macOS only). You'll see a package file "Reason 12.pkg". Open the archive file again and boom! Reason 13.pkg is in your d...

Re: What makes good Techno (and other Electronic genres) Album Art?
Another example of a photo in a similar vein. More than half is sky with a road cutting through, the tank and the red glow in the distance add a striking juxtaposition to the mundane. Lots of post processing to give an image a dream like or worn, antique look. Font is small but stylized to what typi...

This isn’t your grandma’s Reason, this is EXTREME REASON… EXTREASON… version? It’s over 9000!
Jokes aside. I like the font but it’s a bit too big on my phone.

What makes good Techno (and other Electronic genres) Album Art?
I had a tangent with Popey about album art here https://forum.reasontalk.com/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=7533471 I want to move the conversation here. Thanks for the advice and sharing images, I really like the 3rd one. Since your comment I have been noticing artwork a lot more and seeing if there are any c...

Re: Shock Mount vs Me
I haven't gotten a mic with me, but I think my biggest problem is that I haven't practiced singing in years. I wish I had a private space with no one around where I'd feel like I can practice without making someone cringe.
Best of luck on your endeavour mimidancer.

Re: Mechanical Itch (Breakbeat Techmo)
Hi Popey, I'm digging through some old images I made when I was on Propellerhead Discover / Allihoopa in 2015 - 2017. I've honestly used whatever I can get my hands on for album art, sometimes royalty free or public domain images, but also stuff from movies or video games (which probably couldn't be...

Re: Mechanical Itch (Breakbeat Techmo)
Nice track! I love the atmosphere and the cacophony that gives it character without throwing it out of whack. I'm listening to Detour now, very solid track. My only complaints is your album art doesn't do any of the tracks justice.

Re: Would you like to see Linux version of Reason?
Didn't Propellerhead have Europa available in a web browser at one point? REs could be deployed in a browser experience and probably could run in Linux no problem. I think the Reason application is the only thing holding it back. What's been going on in the Linux audio world lately, I haven't seriou...

Re: Assuming there's going be one, what you think is coming in Reason 13?
The RRP and Reason+ are Reason Studios' bread and butter, so those will always get more attention. Creating new effects and instruments are always going to be thing to attract new and potential users. Maybe occasionally inspire the jaded, veteran user or two. I hope Objekt was a good a launch for th...

Re: Assuming there's going be one, what you think is coming in Reason 13?
The number one feature for Reason 13 will be ...
Hope..
For Reason 14 getting the features you actually want.
I'm seriously hoping for sequencer updates like track grouping, markers, freezing tracks.
But on the RRP side, I really want drag and drop midi from Players and direct recording into REs.

Re: KORG Legacy Collection update & sale
I think Gforce might have a sale on Oddity 3 , an ARP Oddysey emulation with some some bells and whistles. You can get polyphony, macro controls, and modulate almost any control with a LFO or envelope. The Korg one is good, I have the iPad app version, but I think Oddity 3 is a bit nicer.
