not sure why but there is a sound in the first track that makes me think of Smothered Hope by skinny puppy. Cool stuff tho.

Looks like way to much stuff has been stripped out of it. All the vocals and other wavs are gone. 

I guess what I am also trying to say is it will take more than a midi file to make it sound like you have guitars in your tack. If you are making a refill I would highly suggest also adding presets for effects.

looks like you cannot post time tags here. The real guitar part starts around 2:24, there are guitars prior but are not the best example as they sound like guitars... but are heavily over driven and reverberated. 

You can get cleaner sounds of your guitars with the right effects. Like you I do not play guitar... but I love guitar sounds. The idea tho is to make them sound real... or as real as you can. In your example the background guitar is very good. But when you get into the guitar melody it starts to fal...

i used to play with reason way back then when it had very simple synths... now I am curious what the me now could make with very very basic stuff.  You can even help me set the rules for myself.  Should I be allowed so sing or not?

and no effects? Just subtractor? thats pretty cool.

Folk are always quick to try and sell with out building a fan base... its kinda weird.

Hello KnowControl! I listened to this with my Genelecs + Krk sub.  The first impression is that it's a little bit too much sub in the beginning - or perhaps it's supposed to be super heavy on sub? Very original and very pleasant. I'm thinking of  Pendulum  and  Tool when I listen to this. Liked it!...

I have been pushing for a chat on this site for awhile! I am hoping Heir Luni makes it happen! There are very few good live chats left to talk music anymore I used to go to boyinaband... but since he became superstar the site is dying. 

I have not played with it a ton... but it would have been wicked if you could play it as pitches. Seems to me its mostly just 1 tone.

I am glad that it has something to grab onto other than just noise that you hear alot of folk who try to make noise tracks seem to do. its more than just noises... there has to be substance. this is cool and has some of that. 

Some folk are very good in figure... I am gonna have to start playin with it again.  This is cool, it doesn't sound like a figure track.

Too long in slavery for me. Asynchronious breaks at the drums and no melody. Just beat and button' turns. Sorry. true. Me too, i really dont know what i was thinking when i made this. I was skeptical of 8 at first and all the people I worked with were all on 7... i really wanted the amps.... but now that I have it... I really do like it. Most of the folk I work with also were convinced and have upgraded. I have grown used to it.. and its none to shabby.
