Wow, this sounds so solid. They really nailed the various distortion parameters, like metalizer and the Steiner-Parker filter. And the bottom end on this thing can be very heavy.

gate\cv holes (external signal processor section) at back panel, The ESP quantizes incoming note CV to match the scale that Step is using. Except for using Step's scale as a reference, the ESP doesn't interact with Step in any way, it's just a useful add-on utility, in fact it's a Sample & Hold mod...

Else question - i did read that here possible to somehow record incoming CV line, is there any video example how it occurs and looks lol ? I tried to connect subtractor lfo out to gate\cv holes (external signal processor section) at back panel, press record and play transport, but nothing recorded....

Yes, you can clock it from an LFO, for example, or from Euclid. Anything that outputs a series of pulses.

As long as you allow for an increased bass response due to corner placement, you'll be ok, especially if it's just for casual listening.

One of the many workflow limitations that Reason will never correct, and one of the reasons I can't take Reason seriously.

Europa has one major flaw - you can't copy one engine's settings to another engine. Not sure what they were thinking when they made this design choice, but clearly they weren't thinking about the user.

Likewise, I upgraded from R11 Suite to R12 and lost none of my Suite REs. Didn't have to reinstall anything.

Just filter out the pitch bend info...Oh wait, it's Reason you're talking about. They're working on Reason's MIDI integration, but since MIDI is so new (it's only been around for 40 years), it might take a while. R17 maybe?

No, just updated for Silicon and VST3 compatibility. But if they're going to go that far with these plugins, maybe they'll make the effort to improve the UI's too.

AIR has issued a call for public beta testing of their 'legacy' plugins. The consensus was that these classic devices had become abandonware, but with support for Silicon and VST3, they're back.
