It’s not an RE and maybe not exactly what you’re looking for but my partner and I just got Dubler2 today and it definitely does scale detection and assistance - https://vochlea.com/
It’s pretty wild and works seamlessly with Reason.

Re: Reason updated and won't load previous VST
I'd love to see Reason add the capability to append meta data to a track, so we can avoid polluting the track name with other data. Add in some additional QoL features to add/update the metadata with the name of the device, perhaps version info etc, as well as custom user comments. I'd love to be a...

Re: Need help! Sequencer tempo changing itself.
It’s the minus key. Happens to me when I try to type in a clip gain or automation amount and the cursor doesn’t stick to the window. But it could be anything you are doing that includes touching the minus key. It’s a terrible key command.

I must confess I'd forgotten that you were the originator of "the other tagline" when I made that post. If you are not working in marketing you need to change career ASAP. Drunk or sober, the magic touch is still there. I am not in marketing. I have been thinking about a career change tho...

#ask me what I'm talking about, #intentionally vague Not intentionally at all. But the original thread did get locked down. Basically -- I said some nonsense and a couple people seemed to like it. Most importantly I was not drunk this time! But I just really like this forum and how useful and frien...

But I don't think it is. From all of your anti-Reason / anti-update ranting I suspect there is a user issue. As nearly everyone has suggested, you should update to 12.7. Connecting to the internet might be a hassle but you can do it. And is it any less of a hassle than your current course of action...

Re: USB mic aggregate - can I set different input & output at the same time?
Ah, I thought that might be the case but I also thought that maybe GarageBand just had a very similar input/output interface since it's Apple! LOL. But, glad that swapping the output to the top worked. The other way would have worked also but you would have had to manually swap the output cables on ...

Re: USB mic aggregate - can I set different input & output at the same time?
You need to open the Audio Midi Setup Utility for your computer and create a new aggregate device that contains all the input and output devices you wish to use together. It will look very much like the screen shot of GarageBand you have posted. Organize it however you'd like but maybe make the defa...

Re: ”Shut the fuck up and use the software. It's great.”
I am amazed there is still a conversation, and quite a heated one going on about my drunken, and yes, frustrated, quote. I am still tickled that TritoneAddiction (and others) find it inspiring. I appreciate them attempting to turn it into something positive! There seems to be some questions about wh...

Add my voice to the small choir. The tempo change key commands drives me crazy! I can think of no useful case or need for this.

Re: Reason Delay/Latency Problem
I’m pretty sure that sending audio out of any daw, through an audio interface, and back in, is going to create some amount of latency. I mean, why wouldn’t it? You are converting to analog audio and then recording back in, right? Time is real. I’m not sure I understand what the mystery is.

Re: M1 Mac: Jump from Monterey to Ventura, or is Sonoma safe yet?
I've been running Ventura on my Mac Studio with Reason 12 and a ton of plugins. It works great aside from the non-Apple Native plugins that you seem to have eradicated already. I still have some from older sessions and if I load Reason in Rosetta mode even those work fine. I am still waiting to upgr...

Re: Loudness Wars - Logic vs Reason
The master fader on the mixer is the absolute last thing in the signal chain. So, if that is turned down you will never get up to full, peak volume, or -1db, whatever your preferred target is. I just had this issue yesterday. My final Selig Gain in my Master Section said I should be exporting with a...

I don't care if Reason doesn't do things exactly the way Logic, Ableton, Cubase, FL Studios, Bitwig, goddamn Reaper, or whatever other software I don't use does them.

Re: Mac Pro 2012 Reason 12
A basic M1 mini, or M1 Air 8gb, will suffice for most hardcore usage, even in Rosetta. Swap memory is insanely efficient. NOW the best is not a M2 Studio max yet. Reason is not yet Native. For me, a base M1 or M2 mini, is more than enough for 99% of my projects. Huh? Reason is not yet Native? Yes, ...
